Gauging intrest... 4TH Gen MR 3" SS catback

I’m making this thread to see if there is any interest in a full 3" stainless steel cat back for the 4TH Gen. I contacted Megan Racing about this, and they say they can make it if there are at least 10 serious people interested in a cat back.

I still need go talk to them to get info on the type of resonator, and muffler that is going to be used if this cat back gets produced.

The price should be around 385-400.

Thanks,
Alfonso

3" would probably hurt your performance, unless you are boosting of course, as your trim level implies

how would 3" hurt your performance? wouldnt that just keep the air floor less restricted?

That is a great price for a 3 inch exhuast, I just don't like fart can mufflers.

If you are boosted jump on this!

2.75 is good for N/A with lots of bolt-ons and maybe some internal work. Should really help with high end power.

but 3" is overkill, and you start to lose exhuast escape velocity (or whatever it is called), hurting both torque and hp. Its a similar effect as hollowing out cats on many cars, in theory it sounds better, but it actually would hurt your performance.
