exedy

maxxtuningusa.com has the stage one for an unbeatable $230 for the kit. Unfortunately they are backordered and not sure when they will get the next shipment in.

How about a stock replacement clutch GD? Stock clutch will hold all the power you need, unless you've got boost or nitrous. Also easier on the tranny, which is much more expensive to replace.

I want a spec clutch, stage 2. Some of my friends have been experiancing problems with exedy clutches on their maximas.

They are not stage 1. They are just stock replacement.

According to the Spec website, they don't have products for our cars. Were the Exedy clutches Stage1 or stock replacements. It has been widely reported that ACT uses Exedy organic friction discs and the difference in clamping force is 36% vs 39% (exedy vs act). It is always possible the install was sloppy (ie. flywheel not turned, flywheel dirty, mechanic used greasy hands when putting friction disc on, etc.)

I can do a groupbuy for a few different brand clutches and Flywheels. I will post a link to it when I get it written up.

Thanks

I need a clutch within the next two weeks, so if this gets off the ground, I would be the first to buy. I'd take either an Exedy or ACT (stage 1), though I don't need a flywheel (planning on having it resurfaced) Thanks
