I was looking at filter today... I don't think the AEM will fit actually.

Is the AEM filter wider than the k&n?

They are practically the same. I'd go with the K&N, more bang for your buck over the AEM.

It's a tad wider but they have a pretty long flange on it (the rubber tube that connects over the intake pipe).

The S&B filters are pretty compact, I K&N that I carry are pretty compact width wise, but are somewhat long (6.5") long, 7 3/8" long if you include the flange.

$40 shipped, not in stock, would have to be special ordered. Just use the RU2820's that we have in stock, they are the same size as teh RE0930's.

Or use the S&B equvalent which are in stock as well, but they also have the inverted cone filter on top. Same price as the RU282.

$32.95 shipped.

$39.95 shipped but it will take a while to get in. I have the S&B filters like the one you bought earlier but in a 3.5" flange. $33.95 shipped for those. I have the S&B 3.5" filters in stock.

I'm out of K&N's at the moment but have plenty of S&B's in stock. I can ship 2 day for $2 more. If you can get payment in by tonight it will go out tomorrow and get to you by Sat.

send me an email and I'll send over a pic. It is the same exact filter that came with your PR intake. I'm backordered at the moment.

I do but they are backordered for a month. The shipping container is en route form Japan. I cleared out Apexi's warehouse last month.

Price is $89 shipped for the Apexi filter and Apexi filter adaptor kit.

Do some simple math. Wrap a piece of string around your intake piping and measure the length of length of the string. That is the piping circumfrence. Divine by 3.14 (pi). That is the diameter of the piping. If it's not 3", I have every other diameter of filter in stock as well, 2.5", 2.75", 3", 3.25", and 4".

Who says you never use what you learned in math???

J,

PM me the name on the account that was used to pay. Standard shipping is by USPS so I don't have tracking on it but I can tell you if it shipped or not.

Bryan

to install a cone filter, i'll have to rip out the other filter system correct? can this be a DIY?

would i need some sort of conversion bracket or is the k&n a perfect fit? i looked online and it seems i'll need a 3" diameter for the 97 infiniti i30. any 4th gen maxima owners care to ring in and confirm it's a 3" diameter?

thanks

It depends on what setup you currenlty have. If you are 100% stock right now, you would have to buy the MAF adaptor from elsewhere, I do not sell the 4th gen MAF adaptor.

lol, well i'll be damned! So easy!

well, good thing I measured it. The string wrapped around it and took about 13.5" which means the diamater must be around 4.2" .... so yeah, 4" filter it is!

same price? lemme know! time to spend some money, thanks!
