4th & 5th gen CARBON FIBER, WOOD, ALUMINUM STEERING WHEELS & SHIFT *****...

Okay, I got the final prices on these.

Here's how it works.

The supplier makes wood, carbon fiber, aluminum (almost any kind you can think of) steering wheels & shift *****.

The steering wheel looks stock except it has wood or whatever you want on the top & on the bottom. (just like the 99 i30's limited)
The shift ***** also looks stock & are covered in wood or carbon fiber or whatever you want.

This is what the supplier told me.

Steering Wheels: Carbon Fiber, Wood, Aluminum, etc. costs $350 but you pay him an extra $250 deposit for a new steering wheel. When you receive the new wheel you send back your old steering wheel & you get the $250 back.
If we get 10 people for this the price will be $295 + the $250 refundable deposit.
So after you get the deposit the cost is $350 unless we get 10 people for this. If that happens then it's only $295.

Shift *****: Basically they take stock shift ***** & cover it in wood or carbon fiber or whatever. (this is for automatics & manuals)
There is no need to give him your stock one.
Price: $125 if we get 10 people then it's $99

all prices are + shipping.

feel free to ask me any questions.

Sam

Is there pictures of his work? And I assuming the wheels must come with airbags if you send him stock ones correct?

I think the steering wheel can be separated from the airbag. Airbag is worth $$$$. I think you can pick up steering wheel without airbag at the junk yard for pretty cheap. Is it real aluminum? Wouldn't that sucker get super hot in the summer. Can he wrap it into something like red leather? I like the carbon fiber idea also.

okay,

I have no pics.
I haven't seen his work.
I don't know the guy.

I talked to him on the phone for about 15 minutes.

The steering wheel does not come with the airbag. You use your own. The ones you have now seperate from the airbag. You either A: send him your wheel or B: send him $250 & after you send in your wheel later he gives back the $250

You guys go ahead and call him...ask him anything you want...post for others...I'm getting married soon so I can't be spending my cash on the max... have fun, let me know how they look...

Here's his info.
Tell him that Sam spoke to him last week from the "car club" (lol) . . .
