The only harness you need is the H4 harness. It costs about $2-4 dollars from an autoparts store. As for the bulbs, that is up to you on what you want to purchase. You can buy cheap bulbs or expensive bulbs. The ones that are included on other deals (the clear headlights) are regular bulbs, of the cheap variety also available from any auto parts store. The bulbs involved are: H4, 194 and 1156.
I could put together the bulbs and harnesses needed for everyone but I don't have access to those parts cheap so if anything I would have to charge more than what you would have paid on your own.

If you don't get the 10 people there are two options. If all 5 people want in, paypal the extra $20. If at least one person wants out, (making it less than 5 people) everyone gets a refund.

Come on people, lets make this GD fly! I like the fact that the bulbs are not included- this way I can buy decent bulbs and not be stuck with some cheapy blue tint jobs. The wire connectors are not a big deal , with the h4 bulbs you can use regular spade connectors if you wish (read cheap and available everywhere).

Hey everyone, i am looking for clear one piece Cefiro headlights. I am so confused reading al these posts now. Are we getting clear or smoked? If we are getting clear are they a perfect fit (bolt on) for the 1996 I30's? And someone please explain exactly what we need to do with the factory wiring please. I know I need the H4 harnes ($2-$4 at any car store) but do I need to splice or cut the old factory harnes off??? AND LASTLY, how much will it be if I am in and when can we expect the lights at the door?

Well if we can't get all 10 people we can get them for $250, or I can talk to MaxMojo for refunds.

 

This particular GD is for the smoked ones. They are a perfect fit for the I30, as for the harness, splice or cut, either way will work.
Pricing will be $230 for 10 people $250 for 5. The lights should arrive on your door step in less than a month. They were special ordered for this GD. The smoked as well as the clears will be in stock at normal pricing in a month as well.

There is no way to get them faster. This GD was possible because I specifically ordered this quantity for it. They are on their way already from overseas.

 

One word of advice - Customs will NOT let these through if they find out they are not DOT Approved.

If the manifest says "headlights" then there's a chance that the Customs Agent (depending on which one you get) will look for the DOT stamp on them - they do not have one - so you may lose your lights.

I lost $1600 trying to get 10 sets of Cefiros in this way.

If I had been smart and used a Customs Broker, instead of going to the Customs office myself, they likely would have never looked at them.

They were destroyed.

As for the weatherstripping, noone notices it unless I point it out.

how well do HID applications run with this?

 

I have 8000k HIDs and I have no complaints, I personally feel the beam pattern was a lot better compared to my old 9004 HIDs.

Noone wants to be persons 6,7, or 8, but as soon as we get # 9, i am sure that the 10th person will jump in since they will be guaranteed to get the $230 price.

i paid for thee lights almost 3 weeks ago... i know i have to wait untill everyone else pays but i think it would almost be worth it for the rest of us to put in a extra $20 just to know that this is over our money is safe and the lights are on the way. what does everyone else think? i am just tired of waiting come on people pay the man, so we can get our lights. its only $250 i dont think your gonna loose your house over it or anything!!! This GD was for either 5 or 10 sets originally. They are not in stock, I special ordered 10 for the GD. I have 7 payments so far. If you all kick in $20, it would not get here any sooner... So there is time for 3 more people to sign up..

Do those 7 people pony up another $20 and all 7 get the lights, or do the last 2 to pay get a refund, the first 5 pony up an additional $20, and only the first 5 get lights?

 

If we don't get more than 7, then all 7 will have the option to put up $20 to receive the lights or get a refund, but if it drops below 5, it will be regular price, at which point whoever is still in has the option to pay the difference or get a refund.. No one will lose money in this deal.

 

When u say 'time', I'm guessin that the lights haven't come in yet. Do u know when they will come in to u ?
