Awesome. I'm definitely in for a 4th gen set. I'll be paying either on thursday or friday. Do you have a lot in stock or is it possible you might run out?

doH!! i paid $172 a while back. can i have my $1 back??

the H-techs are a very nice drop IMO. i've seen the S-techs in person and they are too low for my taste. if you people are looking for a nice, conservative drop where you dont have to worry about eating parking blocks or scrapping the underside of your car, H-techs are the way to go.

I need these springs...Do you think my stock SE shocks/struts will last at least a year with the h-techs?

How is the drop on these H-techs compared to Maxspeed springs? I also think that the Tein S-techs are too low.

Thanks

Do you NEED them to last a year? I've heard of people dropping their max and killing the stock shocks in a month. I am planning to put on my new springs and shocks at the same time...that way I won't have to get it aligned twice. Have you looked at the KYB deal, cause it's a good price right now? Does anyone else have experience with stock shocks handling lowered springs?

I run my 2k1 with Maxspeed on stock shock plus I drive on 40 series tire, this set-up have been on the car for nearly 2 years now and honestly I'm starting to be fed'up of this set-up. The suspension bottom out on bigger pothole.

I was really considering buying JIC, but those are goin to look crap after the kind of winter we have over here, the next winter is going to be the last one my max has to face but still I cant live one more month with this set-up and my max deserve better. I ear that Tein provide the best drop, I think with the ajustability of the AGX that should be way much better than what I have now.
( were you referring to AGX or GR2 ?) I'm waiting for shipping cost and will move forward with Tein and AGX.

Cheers

I organized a deal with Phil's Inc. Automotive Warehouse. Since we've reached the minimum, he's shipping as he gets payment, so there's no wait. They GR-2 are $230 for 4th gen, $275 for 5th Gen. The AGX are $370 for 4th gen. Those prices include shipping, although the deal is only for the 48 states, so I guess this doesn't apply to you unless you have a friend south of the border. :-( Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think AGX are available for 5th Gen Maximas yet...at least I KNOW they aren't for this deal. I have heard of people modifying the 4th gen AGX to fit 5th gen (that's what Cattman does for his 5th gen AGX), and IIRC it only meant making a couple of holes a bit bigger, and getting new front upper mounting plates, but you'd have to ask around the 5th gen to be sure. I haven't read up very much on those.

http://maxmods.dyndns.org/index.php?MaximaSprings says that GR-2 work with the Tein H, and that GR-2 are essentially the same as AGX but without the adjustability...but if AGX aren't for 5th gen and you really want the adjustability then maybe you better go with something else, like Tokico Illuminas or Koni Yellows. Anyway, as I said we've already reached the minimum so it won't mess anyone up if you don't get them, but you're welcome to take a look, if you've got a US address. Here's the thread:

http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=304556

Good luck in your search.

Thanks, Chris

I was having the exact same thought! I would be very intrested in purchasing these Tein H Techs with a set of Illuminas at a group deal price. I was going to order the Illuminas from the other group deal but would prefer to do the shocks as well through SWA. Can SWA match or come close to the other group deals price of $425 shipped for the Illuminas? If so I am in for the Tein H Techs & Illuminas the second I see the post saying so....... Cash is in hand.

I'm interested. Not sure when I can pay, so deadline for this deal would be helpful.
