Just ordered and paid over the phone (the online site didn't have an option for the discount code). Actually talked to Jay, he's a real cool guy. I didn't know this software does mode 6 diagnostics (shows results in real time from failed tests)...not all cars are compatible.

He seems like a car fanantic like us. He says he gets a lot of cooperation with Nissan and can help us figure out what test results mean if we need it.

Thanks for setting this up (mingo), and keeping it going (maximaman777). I didn't realize this was such a high end scanner...glad I got in.

Oh, if anybody needs the number quick, its 1-480-326-6010 from 9AM until 6PM MT, Monday through Saturday.

ok, if you guy need A 10 person I'm it. I'm really tight on money (and the deal drops $10 with 10 people)
you guy garantee me you have 9 and I will pay (I know today is the last day.
just have a few question, before.
1 all I have is a desktop PC (do I have to get a laptop or any of the two types of hand PC) to use this scanner?
2 (explaning to me as if i was a moron) besides being able to "dyno test your car" and pulling the codes, what else (intersting) can I do with this program.

BTW. about 95 maximas. If you can go to autozone and scan the codes from your car, then your can is a gen II OBD.
2 if your car is a cali spec 95 then your car is OBD II
(I Know this from the Haynne's manual)
Thanks.

Regarding point 1

I saw on their website the minimum requirements for this program are quite minimal: 90 MhZ processor, 32 MB RAM, windoze 95, CD and a serial port. I just looked around on Ebay and found a few laptops that exceed these requirements priced under $1! Of course, that doesn't include shipping. I too have only a desktop, but for less than $50 I can get a cheapo laptop that works just fine for this application and maybe some word processing or light internet surfing.

This is a great GD!

(Or you can get a really long serial cable and string it from your car to your desktop and just record parameters while idling.)

I don't know if anyone ordered before I did, but I know I won't get mine before the deadline on Wednesday. If it will help you decide to get in or not, email or call and talk to Jay or any of the "tech" guys there. This seems like a pretty knowledgable company and they should be able to answer questions you have.

I just edited post#83.
This is where we are now from what I see.

BEJAY1 You won't have time to wait for someone to receive theirs, Jay has made it clear "NO LATE STRAGGLERS" and this deal ends tonight! We have 5 on the fence and haven't heard from 3 of them for a while. We need 3 more to confirm and buy TODAY before close of business and we have 10. It's pretty cut and dry.

I'm buying today, but I'm going to wait a bit to see if a friend of mine is going to order one as well. I might end up ordering two at one time...

What are their hours?

It's 8:15 AM here in CA and they're in AZ (one hour ahead) and they're not answering their phones.

Their hrs are 9am-6pm. Maybe they're just getting off to a slow start today. Try again and see what happens.

Okay I've called 480-326-6010 and 602-463-0866 about five times and sent an e-mail to their sales department. I can't wait any longer because I'm pulling a 12 hour shift tonight and need my beauty rest. If any of you who gets one decide you don't want it, contact me and I'll buy it from you.

I've already emailed Jay and left a message for him. I hope to be able to update you all very shortly. One of the many questions I asked him was to clarify the cutoff date. He has been very promt in the past, so hang in there a few...

Thanks

Actually, the message said they are unable to take calls at this time. It didn't say anything about not taking calls this week...

No need to freak out guys, we're holding up our end of the deal. Do to this issue they have at this time I'm sure we'll have some leway. There is no telling what could be going on internally with them at this time, hopefully nothing tragic on a personal level. Jay will get back to me and I'll update all of you.

That means we're only short 1 person. I know someone else out there wants one of these, come on and chime in. The extra $10 off would be nice as I'm getting the CAN option as well.

Cool I'll leave another message to place my order.

Jay has not gotten back to me yet. I'm hoping the dead line will get extended, it'd be nice to have it run through the end of the week. Jay may be one of the people not in. We'll just have to wait and see. I may have someone interested as well but I won't know today. When I talk to the person that calls me back I'll see if get some info to share.

Ok Jay emailed me back and gave me his direct line. My order is placed and the good news for everyone else is if you called and left a message you will get a call back. Even Better news there is no cutoff at this time and Jay has us at the $159 price already! He will email me when to post a cutoff point.

This Is The Number To Use---> 1-602-463-0866
Leave a message and Jason will call you back.
Don't forget "Maxima.org" is the code for the pricing!

The other number is for their Mesa location and they're all in Europe at this time. When Jay and I set this up last week they thought they could handle it and they ended up getting overwhelmed.

This will be good till AT LEAST the end of the week so call and leave a message when you know you will be able to receive a call back. No one that wants in will be left out. But remember this will not go on indefinitely so don't procrastinate to long.

Also given the above info I will not be editing the list anymore if you want it, call and buy. I'm gald this worked out well and I hope it fits everyones needs.

Regards,
Adam

Just ordered, was charged the $169 rate, said the last rate his boss told him was $169, but he will verify when his boss gets back from vacation or something, and credit me the $10 once confirmed.

You sure he has us at the $159 price?

I delt directly with Jay when I placed my order. Jason sould have been the person you talked to earlier. Let him verify with Jay and see what happens. Jay's email is also all over this thread. I will not post his direct line here but if you continue to have a problem let me know and I'll call him for you.

Also remember they were swamped today, we aren't the only ones ordering. Jason's boss may very well be out of town, Jason and Jay aren't in the same location either so give them a chance to get on the same page.

Thanks

Cool. Yeah, I paid $169 too. I'll wait to see what happens. If anybody else gets credited $10 let me know.
