geez can you at least do some research before you ask a question like that. simply type in technosquare into whatever search engine you use and voila. if you're too lazy or incapable, it's in so cal and it costs five to six bills normally

no one better back out, because the down is non refundable, so if even one person backs out, then we just lost our money. its time to let TS know that the org is serious. not just some punk A$$ kids screwing around.

That info should be in the 5th Gen forum. The 5.5's ECU was cracked last summer.

Take me off the list for now. They've yet to show they have a 5spd ECU cracked. Untill then, I'm out. It's too bad though. I'll be calling them tomorrow and I'll try to get some info out of Brian. I'll let you know how it goes.

I'll tell you right now, to make this happen someone will have to give them an ECU to do all the testing. Also, I think the more access they have to a 5 speed, the quicker they can get it done.

When I spoke with Danny a couple of years ago to make this happen, I told him I was willing to wait as long as I could.

We need more competition around here so we can get better customer service.

whoa wait a second so the list is also for 97-01 people for whom there isn't even an ecu upgrade available?? will the rest of us have to wait for them to crack that to even benefit from the GD? gah and i thought things were looking good

who's the horse and who's the rider? eg who's running this show? no disrespect intended, just trying to find one person who is leading this off. that way, we don't look like a bunch of idiots who don't know what's going on and 30ppl calling trying to set something up. get the picture? step up and be recognized.

someone just make a finalized list. if it has at least ten people i say someone call TS already. if they want ten more, then we'll wait but it is premature i suppose to get excited about this

Like I said. I'll call them tomorrow and see what the deal is. Although I can tell you now that I'm 99% sure they won't do a GD, they've been let down by the ORG way too many times. We'll see, I'll let you all know tomorrow.

ok i think when you call or whoever calls does so they need to get a stone list of what this ecu is, which ones they do and dont, if they cant do a 5spd ecu then take me off the list cuz it wont do me any good, also find out what years can be done, i thought it was only 95-96 5spds but if not then im off the list...and an official list of who is acually in needs to be made, theres def. way to much confusion about this ecu

I suggest who ever is organizing this with the info to start a NEW THREAD with exactly who qualifies for this GD. I want this bad.... but WTF? No 5spd? If they need to keep ECU for longer to crack it, I have no problem with it as long as they get it done before April ish cuz I'm gona be getting a 2nd ECU anyways

So this is how the GD should go, let Dave call and everyone else sit back so that TS doesn't get bombarded with calls about the same thing.

Ok so they have Cheston's ECU right now and they haven't even decided whether they want to look into it any more. They have some other projects going on that they need to tend to first. He said that by summer time he'll know whether they'll look into it, the 5spd ECU that is. They may do it and they may not, he wasn't too sure himself. As for the the GD, I didn't get any specifics either.

clarification for you guys.... They do make an ECU that works on the 5 speeds, they just dont have the rev limiter cracked for the 5 speed ecu yet.

What's the limiter anyways? And is it different for Canadian cars eh?

For those people who don't own an aftermarket VI manifold or don't plan to get one, don't bother with trying to get a raised limiter. Just order an upgrade for a the A/F and timing.

Am I missing something? Hasn't there been posts already about people saying that Technosquare already cracked the revlimit problem and there is no problems with 5 speeds? This group deal initially started about 6 months ago when Techno hadn't cracked the revlimit problem but now they have. Unless I'm missing something we need people to get their facts straight.

You are missing something since I just said a few posts ago that I talked to Brian at TS and he said they haven't even looked into the 5spd ecu that much.

You guys really don't listen/read/pay attention do you? The likelihood of this GD going through are very slim. Technosquare has attempted this before and they got burned pretty bad, so unless someone is going to collect money and go to them (which still may not work) don't hold you're breathe on this.
