yeah, what the heck is wrong with that guy? there is no way you find a deal better than this. this is also the lightest one so far. those ebay pulleys for 60 bucks or so, they are 1.5 lbs. these pulleys supposed to be around 1.27 lbs. can't beat that.

sorry i have not read through all 17 pages, but do we need anything eles for this, or do we need just the pully for the install? if we do need other stuff cna you tell em what and where to find.

You will need belts. I am unsure of the size, but its in this thread some where. I will have to search for it myself, but not going to until I get my pulley.

Post #184 has the belt sizes... ya might also wanna check out the generational forums just to confirm... they usually have that info in the Stickies somewhere...

What if you own a I30 with over 170k miles on it? The only thing that's in question in my mind is... will this UDP create more wear and tear, or actually slow down the process. If someone knows 100% that this causes more wear and tear, please let us know. Some of us might purchase this not knowing what will the true outcome be at the end of it all.

All the pulley does is it rotates the accessories slower and frees up weight from the crankshaft so there is less rotational weight that robs horsepower from the engine... the drawback is, in shrinking it and making it more lightweight, you remove the rubber harmonic balancer from the pulley... Z32 guys have yet to have a proven case of negative effects from the use of an underdrive pulley on the VG30DE(TT). I would say the older the engine is and/or the more beat up it is (if you rag the crap out of it), then yes your risk of damage might be higher, but its probably higher anyway, even without putting the underdrive pulley into the equation. I honestly would not worry about installing an underdrive pulley on any Nissan V6 or V8. Now on an inline 4... that's a different story... the harmonics of the crank rotation are completely different... but I've never heard of an actual problem on an Nissan V engine...

I see some people are gettin anxious. I am too, but please be patient. Brett emailed me last night and they are packing these as we speak and they are shooting for being ready to ship the begining of next week. I will post again on Monday evening or Tues regarding final payment instructions. I am reposting #410 by brett regarding completion date. i know it was stated after this as well, that that was a projected date, but not 100%. anyway, to refresh everyones memory. This was posted regarding the ship date. Unfortunatly, the additional price break wasn't able to work, so the price is still $70 shipped to your door.

I don't think we need an additional price break, 70 bucks is damn cheap already! Compared to unorthodox, this is already saving you 110 bucks + shipping!

Guys i'm out.....I've decided to change the flywheel out to something lighter instead....this will get me more gains in auto-x than a crank pulley at the moment....

i'm pretty sure it's the same dimensions as the unorth...x pulley. but this weighs lighter. it's weighed at 1.27 lbs where the unorth...x pulley goes to about 1.5 lbs.
