Progress RSBs on sale at Cattman for $115

Cattman Performance is holding a 2 week sale on Progress rear sway bars for $115 (plus shipping). They fit all 1995-2003 Maximas, 1995-2001 I30s, and 2002-2004 I35s.

These haven't been on sale lately, and won't be again soon, so grab the opportunity while you can. Recent price increases forced the retail price up to $139, and we'll probably need to raise it to $145 on the next batch we order to keep up with out-of-control steel prices.

We just received a very large shipment, and would like to reduce this inventory, so they are on sale through July 2 at the $115 price. Like all of the Cattman Performance special sales, just call and order, they're in stock and ready to ship. Payment by credit cards and money orders only - if paying by MO, call in the order first, then follow up with the check.

Our order line is 800.759.9920, open 8-5 MST (same as west coast time in the summer, no daylight savings time in AZ), Monday - Friday. Calls received by Noon should ship the same day.

I don't know what the exact amount would be. They're not that heavy, and you aren't that far from Tucson, so it shouldn't be that expensive.

I'll come back with that amount, but in all cases, I need Canadian postal codes or US zip codes to determine the shipping rates. I don't know what might work on avoiding various fees, but I do know that if you ship USPS, it will cost more than UPS and there is no real time tracking capability.

Can you get back to me with your postal code, mate? UPS requires this to generate shipping quotes to most "first world" countries. I also need to know if you want surface or air shipment. Without knowing the exact amount, I can tell you that the cost of air shipment may be more than the part itself. You might want to reply to me by email, bcatts@cattman.com.

Its a gamble ... I buy stuff here for my mother and send it USPS to her in Toronto.
There is no brokerage fee that I am aware of. Sometimes Canada Customs/Canada Post (not sure which) sends her a bill for the amount owing in taxes and duties based on the lil green customs declaration on the package. Sometimes not. Last parcel I sent had a declared value of over USD$1000 and she never got "the bill".
With something this large, though small in value, they'd have to be blind or French to miss it!

Cheers!

Sorry about that, Sammy. Everything seems to have been processed yesterday, but I see on the invoice that the "t" was left out of your email address, which would explain why the information didn't reach you. There will be a follow up on that today.

whats up guys. i just called and ordered over the phone. $115 plus shipping which cost me $18 dollars to Los Angeles. i thought it would be cheaper to business because it usually is but I told to ship to my business but i guess they are still charging the same. MCC does not get a discount, i think because it is a group deal already. anyways....good luck guys.

I'm sure you can find an imported one-size-fits-all generic front strut tower bar for $50 or even less, that will do the job, but...

the ones we sell are an "eye candy-grade" accessory, with a titanium cross bar and black anodized billet aluminum components. We designed them ourselves as a high-style alternative to the Stillen FSTB, and we have them made in limited numbers by a local engineering firm. There's a pic on our soon-to-be-replaced website, www.cattman.com.

All this is a long way of explaining why they aren't $50 - they retail for $195. We sell them together with the Progress RSB as the "Cattman Basic Suspension Kit" for $295 if you want to put a little style under your hood.

Your message caught my eye, so I looked into it. It is a little less to ship to a business (about $1.50 for this box), but we need to have the business name to do that and my ordering service indicated that it wasn't provided. I don't doubt your honesty, but when we send a part for a delivery to a business and it turns out to be residential address, I'm told we have to pay UPS a $6-7 "up-charge" (penalty) so that's why the business name has to be included in the address.

I'd also mention that the Progress RSB comes in a fairly large box that is right on the border line for getting charged by its "volumetric weight", which is the weight that UPS (or Fedex or whatever) charges for large boxes that aren't that heavy. If its a given size, they'll charge a particular weight, even though it weighs less than that (its realy bad with catback exhaust components). Its a rip, but sometimes we're charged by volumetric weight for the Progress bars and sometimes we're charged actual weight, so based on experience we have to add a wee bit to what the tables show so that it all comes out even (there's no point in arguing the way these are charged when you send out 100s of boxes each week). We're not trying to rip anyone off, but we have to come up with a way so that we don't lose money either.

I may be off a dollar or two, plus or minus, but it looks like $22. I don't mean to be vague, its just that our products are shipped by an ordering service and I can come pretty close to the shipping amount, but sometimes miss by a wee bit.
