i have a 2k, and from what people possted in thsi thread, ill probably get a spec clutch. i have intake, y, midpipe(gonna get the muffler later) and lightened flywheel, would stage 1 work fine? no boosting, nitrous in the future.... thanks.

Hey import my autotragic is going so i need a fidanza flywheel and a exedy racing stage 1 clutch for a 2000-2001 manual tranny cause i throwing the automagic out, doing the swap finally, so how much would it be for both, also how fast is the shipping on these items, and are they still available???

 

You're an automatic....you can't upgrade your flywheel or clutch because you have neither. Technically you do have them but not in the 5spd sense.

 

He can try upgradeing his torque converter, but to this day dont know of anyone makeing them for the maxima, but screw that get a 5spd, im forced to start my swap early as my tranny no longer works.

Got my Spec State II clutch from Justin about 6 weeks ago. No problems with the shipping and Justin was kind enough to lower the price on the invoice so I didn't pay as much for customs/taxes. Good guy to deal with, though kinda annoying to be limited to paying by mail order for Canadian addresses, but oh well.

On a side note I got my Stillen flywheel from Stillen (duh) at about the same time as my clutch. $350 and no issues with specifying that I have a 95 Maxima, the one sent bolted up perfectly.

 

I want the 2002 Nissan Maxima spec stage 2 clutch and spec flywheel. Is this still on? And How much would both items be? Plus whats the stats on the stage 2 clutch? Thanks.

No it won't if it is listed for 96-00. There is something different with the 95.

don't get the exedy stage 1. I have it and right now its slippin like no other. I would reccomend the spec stage 1. I am saving up a little bit of money for that right now.

ordered a Spec's stage 3 clutch friction disc, said will be delivered in 2-3 days. been a week and 1 day, didn't get my shipment yet. just so you know justin; i ordered, on the same day, something from stillen which is located waaaaay further than Spec's warehouse, that shipment already showed up. what's the deal? wrote you an email, didn't get any responses, no tracking number either. checked on my bank statements, it's charged on my account 3 days ago.

dude, that's pretty weak of what happened to the shipping routes due to Hurricane katrina and Rita's destruction. I ordered parts both from stillen in california and importcarparts which drop ships from alabama to come into Louisiana. stillen's shipment came in 2 days ago and import's part from alabama has routed off to take a U-route thru tennesee to come to Louisiana. it'll supposedly come tomorrow. overall, the routes are fcked up this way. it's not justin's (importcarparts) fault. it's just so bad that this delay has to happen. i'd thought to clear this up with you all...

this is like stage 2 i guess because exedy's stage 1 is about stock specs. DO NOT get that exedy oe replacement on ebay. unless you are looking for stock-like replacement, you should just get this one you just listed
