ok, I said I was going to order today, but I just reaalize, that I can get 500 points on my credit card, if I tranfer my money from my checking to the credit then make the shop, so today I'm transfering and it will probably take 2 business days for the money to be avaiable. hehe.
the good thing is by doing that, I will reach a reward level on my credit card that will give me $50 rebate on it, so i'm actualy paying $380 for my MEVI.

MAXimumHP-yes you are correct, but if you noticed i also stated you dont NEED the vac canister. so that saves you a few dollars. and yes the courtsey deal i guess was pretty good but you have to understand my intent was to get the whole package for under 500. 550 tops. shipped to your door.and since i am an independent person just average joe customer. its not very easy to ask companys to lower prices on items if im not buying in bulk. i hope that makes sense. so even though i may not be able to put the "whole" kit together now i wont give up on it. hopefully ill get it for the next deal. but only time will tell.

fanaticrockford- as for now the price is tentative im still working on getting it lower. oh and i didnt say i needed 20 people. i just want that many to make this worthwile for my supplier. it makes more sense to ship many rather than a few. that way if people back out he has some in supply.

What do you mean you don't need a Vacuum canister? Yeah you do! Else the MEVI will start to close on you as soon as it activates because your car isn't making vaccum at WOT! :P

There is probably enough residual vacuum even at WOT to keep the butterflies open, especially if you have a dirty air filter. But I imagine they open a lot faster with a vacuum canister installed. If you're boosted, however, your butterflies will never open without a canister.

OK, I feel like a but how much more power does the MEVI give, and what exactly does it do? It looks like it improves the intake airflow, is this similar to what is on the 3.5's? I have seen the MEVI mentioned on here many times, but I haven't seen what it really does.

steven you maybe right on that point. i cant really remember what caused the vi to not work that day. but after maximase86 and jeff92se's help we just ran it without the canister and it came on fine till i got an oem canister.

I don't think your MEVI was working when we pulled off the canister. IIRC aren't you still having issue with it not opening when it should? I'm just pointing out in my experience (though it's primarily with boosted cars so it may not even apply) the MEVI won't actuate without a canister. I would keep a canister for good measure. Either way, it's the buyer's choice if they want a cansiter or not. They aren't that expensive.

that day i think it was my check valve that was the problem. it went bad. so we bypassed the canister and just ran straight to the actuator and it ran fine after that. thats partly why my dyno was so low.

funny I called today, and some guy said that the dude who takes care of the web site stuff, wasn; there today, and would be i tomorow. well. I will call him tomorow (if blackwind doesn't mind) but I don't want to be a pain in the A** so I will let black wind take care of this, since he is the person who started and is helping us with everything. so if you say, "don't call", then I won't call.

Thanks for all your help blackwind

here is the commo i got today:" navfe the manifolds rae in as well as the covers, what's holding us back is the small nuts and bolts. and the actuators. the supplier has the manifolds in stock but its getting the small stuff in which is time consuming. ill keep you updated as it comes through"

just got off of the phone.

people i should have said this upfront ordering these is a lenghty process and they do take time if you have orderd and feel like backing out i ask that you do just one thing."GIVE YOUR SPOT TO SOMEONE ELSE!!" because he already has yours in the books. and if you are impatient and dont want to wait then that kind of defeats the purpose of the supplier. thank you in advance.

sorry ive been out on this but i got to do my thang too. any questions reply here or email me at trk327@hotmail.com

WELL HERE IS AN ANOUCEMENT, I CAN'T AFFORT MY MEVI (ANYMORE). (BLACKWIND KNOWS WHY) BUT HERE WHAT HE JUST SAID.

" GIVE YOUR SPOT TO SOMEONE ELSE"

WELL THE SPOT IS HERE, AND IF ANYONE IS INTERSTED IN TAKING IT FROM ME IT IS HERE. THE MEVIs HAVEN'T BEING SHIPPED FROM THE COMPANY YET, THEY ARE STILL WAITING FOR SOME BOLTS. I NEEED THE MONEY FROM THE MEVI TO LIVE (BASICALY).
SO PLEEEEEEEEEASE ANYONE THAT IS INTERESTED IN BUYING THE MEVI ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS TRANSFER THE BILL PAY AND SHIPPING INFO FROM ME TO YOU.
