Are you taking about the aluminum valve cover or the plastic spark plug cover? I have a polished valve cover I'm trying to sell so if that's what you are looking for. Let me know. PM or Email.

I have a VQ30DE-K in stock. $130 shipped. I don't have any VQ30DE in stock right now so if you want a VQ30DE let me know and I'll get it done for you. I have a core ready to start on.

It's 130 shipped + core. I'm not sure why you want to keep your old valve cover, but if you want without the core. It's $200 shipped. I paid some good money for the core about 2 years ago.
Here are some pictures.

If so, I'd like one for the 5th gen. How hard is it to remove the valve cover? Just a bunch of bolts to reomove?

VQ30DE-K is 00/01. VQ30DE is 95-99. If you can change spark plugs, you can remove the valve cover. Let me know if you want the 00/01 VQ30DE-K. I can ship it out as soon as I get your payment. I ship you the polished cover first so this will minimize the downtime on your car.

Cool. I'm really interested. I need some bling under my hood. Would I pay the $130? Is there a warranty on the chrome finish and does it come with instructions for install?
Do we need to replace the stock gaskets?

Pay the $130 and make sure you ship me back your old valve cover when get the polished one on. It's polished and not chrome. With polished part, there isn't a coating like chrome to chip or crack. Polishing is what jeweler does to gold, silver and various precious metals. If you ever seen a raw piece of gold, it's dull. With polishing, the finished product is shiny. With polished part, you need to buff it up with chrome polish compound once awhile to keep up the shine.
As for instructions, you need to remove your coils. Take out all the bolts that are holding the valve cover and pull up on the valve cover. I do recommend you replacing the valve cover gasket. Next, pay attention to where the factory put the grey silcone on the cam lobe section. Go out and buy Permetex grey silcone from advance auto parts and apply at the same area. This will prevent the small oil leak.

I have two VQ30DE cores and one VQ35DE core. There aren't really that much demand for them so I just get them done when people want them.

I think some are confusing the Valve cover with the Sparkplug cover.
Ionicmax sells the CF sparkplug cover and I think its nicer then CM's
Its all Carbon Fiber as CM's is only on the top and is a solid black around the edges and sides.

Meant to say cf spark plug cover. Both combined would be cool.
How about $100 shipped for the polished valve cover, though? I know i want it..the cf spark plug cover would be a nice bonus piece, after the valve cover is replaced.

If you def want in, then you'd be the 5th and final person we need to get this going. Too bad Jose has emailed me back yet. I emailed him again today though to get payment info.
