I know that Jim Wolf has them... but does anyone else make a performance clutch and lightened flywheel for the 5.5 gen Maxima?

spec and stillen should have theirs out now...that is what i was told a back in june. i went with the jwt stage 1...very happy, but i wouldn't recommend the flywheel...my personal opinion is that the car boggs too much off the line...you need a higher rpm engagement to keep the inertia of the flywheel from causing a rough start. you get a quicker rev once you've gotten into the powerband, but you give up a good deal of drivability. my .02...hope it helps...by the way, the spec you can get from justin @ import car parts...i believe it was like $340 or the jwt for $299. i have pics of the jwt compared to the stock if you would like to see 'em.

Supposedly we can use 350Z/G35 clutches/flywheels. Don't know of anyone that's actually tested it out yet, but that's the theory...

cool... can you email the pics to royalh13@yahoo.com ?

I had the fidanza lightened flywheel on my 2K... took a while to get used to driving it, but once you do, it's worth it...

I didn't see the jwt clutch on optionimports.com, did you mean buy the spec from them or the jwt from jwt?

import car parts is run by justin...get the spec clutch from him...$340. jwt from jwt should be $299. ben is who i spoke to there. jwt would prob be quicker...spec builds to order, vs jwt w/ product on the shelf ready to ship. o/t... i had a 2k also, but it was an auto. i had to have more hp as my name implies! and the auto...thats for girls, or lazy guys! (relax! i am not trying to flame anyone, just some good ole fun)

So how much more bite does the jwt clutch have? Can you easily chirp the tires in third?
