it runs hotter due to pressure of the fluid...not the tranny giving the extra slip between gears.

a tranny cooler is a MUST.
According to Jeff at Maximum Tuning a Tranny Cooler is not needed with the Stage 2 VB Mod any more than it would be needed with out one. If you a tow a vechicle with your Max Yes definetly. If you want a little preventitive maintanance go right ahead but no it is not needed. I would go with what Jeff says before I would go with what an org member says.
