When I installed the BERK I had all the blown MAF symptoms.
So I put on the stock intake and drove to my local Nissan. I picked up a new MAF and put it in. Cold start and hesitation was gone. Than I put the BERK back on w/ the new MAF and my car feels new again. The performance isn't earth shattering but it is noticable and it sounds great.
Mike,

Do you think I should replace the MAF when I install the Berk Intake? I ordered an extra MAF just in case something like this would happen. I still have the extended warranty, but the deductible is $100..not worth taking it in..just order a new MAF. Thanks for responding!

I wouldn't replace it till I had to. When you get the MAF it has a nice little note telling you to have your ECU software updated. It seems like most of the guys on here don't do it.
If you have an intake on I don't think you will get warranty coverage but if you have the stock on than you could get a MAF and reprogram done with the deductible .MAYBE.

I've been trying to decide on an intake for a while. I think this deal just made up my mind. I'll be taking one for an 04, paying most likely by credit card. If you don't mind, just pm me with all the information i'll need to pay for it and so on. Thanks.

We've had several different specials over the past. This is the latest offering from us. We haven't changed our parts line up for the 5th gen Max in the past year or so.

We've never had a K&N midpipe for sale, it does not exist. Were you just looking for an upgrade to your existing Stillen or Jim Wolf system?

Shoot me an email at bryan@berktechnology.com with what you currently have on your car now and I'll let you know what products we have available for your specific setup.

Regards,
Bryan

Berk Intake

Few questions - This is my first engine mod of my car and determing if i should go with a Cold AIr intake or Regualr Air intake...

Is the Berk intake Cold Air or just an air intake?
I would be interested in the Intake and the K&N filter

Let me know what to do since i feel like im a noob at this...

It is a standard underhood intake. The kit w/ a K&N filter for the 02-03 is $109.95 + $1 UPS shipping. Just give me a call and I can take your order over the phone. These are in stock.

Bryan

The midpipe upgrade kit is $59.95, and yes it comes with all of the neccesary silicone couplers and full stainless hose clamps. I'm assuming that this is for a Stillen upgarde that you have now.

If you are in OC you'll have to pick one up at Wicked Street Garage in Garden Grove.

11711 Westminster Ave, Ste 3A
Garden Grove, CA 92843
714 - 590 - 9289

If you prefer I can still ship it under this promo for $1.

Bryan

The prices will probably remain the same for the remainder of 04. In Jan 05 there will be a price hike by 10-15%.

This is reassuring, being i have to buy tires now so purchasing the intake this month isn't going to be a possibility.

Sorry, what was the question?

To answer the question on this post, the promo will most likely last past Sept. There is definately a price increase coming in Jan 2005.

It would be the the same. They may or may not charge you sales tax.

I am completely sold out of the 2004 Maxima intakes. I have another batch on order with the fabricators. Will not have them for another 2-3 weeks.

I do have those in stock. Let me know what color combination you want for the couplers and I'll make sure that they have it there waiting for you.

I received mine w/ the Apex'i kit this week and installed it tonite. These things sound EVIL at WOT. If a car could sound pissed off, mine does.

I recommend. My car is otherwise stock.

Hey Coby, I am very interested, just have been a bit hesitant with modding my new Max after the bath I took on my Tahoe. I think I could swing the K&N full kit for my '01 considering I was going to spend 40 on the drop-in anyway. Please let me know if you have any other information that might be useful. Thanks!

You can call in your order on the full K&N intake system to get the group deal price. On the website it will charge you the full price.

Or, if you have paypal just send it over to "paypal@berktechnology.com" with a note and I'll process it.

The 00-01's are in stock and ready to go in every color. Just make sure to specify your silicone coupler choice, red, blue, or black.

Regards,
Bryan

Bryan,

When putting this together, from the throttle body..does it go like this?

I'm sorta confused on the couplers. The first one on the left is the one that is 3"x3" but skinnky to fat. Then the midpipe, 3"x3" coupler (fit on the MAF is tight as hell, any suggestions?), MAF, MAF adapter, 2"x2" coupler, adapter for filter, gasket, then filter.

Andy

p.s. sorry for the big pic
