Just making sure, this is the internet afterall. I haven't heard anything since I made the payment, but that is probably just because it is the holidays and such.

TopElement thanks for the positive response.

For everyone waiting on your lines: I believe the rest of the remaining paid orders went out today with tracking #'s in your email boxes.

For people that are planning on purchasing or are in the process. Please be patient with me. If I do not respond in one or two days, or even three or four, this does not mean I have ran to Mexico. I am still here in the U.S. and still working on your order. I have been sick this past week which has slowed me down. Thank you to everyone for their continued support!

And finally, YES, deal is still on! Thanks again to everyone!

This is what i want ,what hal and frank are talking about .Can you hook me up?

PEOPLE!!! Do yourself a favor and buy these lines up. Even if you do not need them, you will one day and might get reamed from another place. Please read my thread...thanks again Derrick...I will be hooking up with you sometime this week to pick up the 4th gen line so I can put the 3rd gen on the 3rd gen.

What I do for the 5 speed conversion is to make a custom hard line from the master cylinder, down to the tranny mount, then use Derrick's SS line.
Exactly what I did. You can find a 4ft length of Raybesto's Hardline that you can bend to which ever shape/direction. And the good thing is that it only costs around $4.

Anyways. Payment is sent for the clutch line!!

Where can this Raybesto's line be had? Does it have the proper fittings to screw into the MC and SS line? That is one of the few parts I still need for my swap.

They sell them at a local imports only parts store near where I live. They have about 5 - 6 different thread patterns. I just brought my factory lines in and matched the threads up. Check like a specialty store that sells odd parts and such. You can try giving them a call to see if they will ship one to ya..

In this pic u can see the custom line. Kind of sloppy but it has been working great for about 8 months now:

Nismo, do they have part numbers on those? I'd like to give them a call. I'll check my local stores. Why did you run it all up there? Do they have 3ft lengths? I don't want any excess that I'll just have to hide somewhere.(Plus its extra weight.) After all this I just remembered that I still have to get the upper hardline for the bleeder somewhere. Anyone have one?

I will make a trip over there to check out the part # for you. I ran it like that because I already had everything back in, even the upper hardline. Only to find out after everything was put it the lines were leaking. So I bought, put it in and drove away. (could not wait for first drive)

I think it only comes in 4 ft lengths... What I did was wound it up in a coil to reduce the length... Works out nicely..Weight? The whole thing weighs about 1 lb.. if that, so weight wouldnt be so much an issue. This line completely replaces the upper line, you will be fine with just the bleeder on the slave. I've had this setup for more than half a year now, no leaks, no problems, great clutch pedal feel.

The new size I believe is 17 1/2 inches... Exactly enough to replace both rubber lines.
