a few more lines went out today, the next batch should go out in two days, sorry about the delay but i ran out of lines and had to order some more. thanks!
i spoke to my friend from nissan and he said that thee might actually cause problems. the reason he said is that the clutch line i in two parts, both rubber, he said if u only replace one u might end up getting the second rubber one to flex and diminish its purpose.

lol, this is gonna sound funny but are we talking about the line that u can see on the tranny bell housing from the top of the car, under the intake and by the battery?

I spoke to technafit today and told them that regardless of what length they have there measured, we need it 2" longer for our VQ's. They have agreed to accept the old lines back and replace them with the 2" longer ones. All I need is for everyone that wants a line to mail them back to me, and here are the instructions:
Mail to:
VQ Clutch line replacement
8457 Mango Way
Buena Park, CA 90620
Along with the enclosed clutch line please include a piece of paper where you have written what address you want the new clutch line sent to, your full name, your contact email address, and the year of your maxima. This is important, please do not miss any info!
Also on a side note, I will be mailing all the new lines back out, and I have a feeling this is going to cost me an arm and a leg, so AS AN OPTION if you want to help out with my postage fees, please include $1.00 along with your line to help me cover postage costs.
The extra $1.00 is optional as I don't want to force anyone to send money since this really wasn't your fault, but it wasn't mine either, and I'm going to take quite a hit when all these lines come back to me, so I guess it's just to help out a fellow .orger!
If anyone has any questions email me at ieatstrawberries@hotmail.com or PM me.
FOR ANYONE THAT HAS PLACED ORDERS RECENTLY:
Your line has not shipped out yet because of this length issue. I have ordered some of the new lines and when those come in yours should go out. Expect htem within a week, and I apologize for the delay!
Phew, that is all.

Derrick,
Just wondering, do you notify us when you send out the lines? Or do they just show up one day in the mail. Sent payment 2/7. Just wondering. I wanted to schedule some other stuff with the line install.
Thanks!!

mr. duck thanks for backing me up. the lines (for whoever has not received an email with a tracking #) are all either already shipped out (and should arrive to you on tuesday or wednesday) or they are shipping out with Tuesdays mail, meaning they will get to you on Wednesday or Thursday. My brother had surgery this past weekend, and with all of the other stuff going on (you know how life is) things have been rough and i have not had a chance to ship some lines out. Rest assured though they are on their way!
posted this in the 4th gen forums news group but got no responses... When does your clutch begin to grab in relation to the clutch pedal position? Does anyone here have a factory service manual with the clutch adjustment specifications? SS clutch line is the way to go! Thanks... MAXIMARK
I just completed the SS clutch line replacement; bleeding went fine - no more bubbles from either the lower or upper bleeders. My question is when should the clutch begin to grab? Mine grabs the moment that I begin to raise the clutch pedal from the floorboard. There's about 2" of free travel when I push in on the pedal before I can "feel" the clutch begin to disengage. Does all this sound to be within normal tolerances? There's no chatter or any other problem. I am wondering if there is an adjustment to be made between the clutch pedal and master cylinder. I searched "clutch adjustment Maxima" online with little results. The clutch was replaced by the stealership about 30K miles ago. I haven't been driving the Max much lately due to a job that provides me a vehicle; the Max feels a bit foreign (exotic) whenever I get to drive it... On the plus side, I do notice much more "clutch feel/response" with the new SS line and fresh fluid.
Thanks and Be Safe, Mark V. (MAXIMARK)
