GD: Door Inserts & Sills - 4th Gen & 5th Gen
I spoke to Greg @ CustomMaxima and letting us in on this special deal:
Normally this would be $198 + Shipping for 4 Door Inserts & 4 Matching Door Sills
(each set of sills or inserts is $99 + shipping)
The Deal: (per set of 4 sills or 4 inserts)
5 - 10 = $80 SHIPPED
11 and up = $70 SHIPPED
This is for: Aluminum, Wood, Marble, CarbonFiber (add $20)
BEST PART OF THE DEAL IS THAT IT COULD BE IN ANY COMBINATION!!!
Lets say 6 people get inserts and 5 get sills, we get them at $70!!!

would i be able to get door inserts without the lettering in carbon fiber? i think the lettering is just too much maxima all over the place, don't get me wrong i love it, but i want a little more subtle look. plus i already have it on my door sills from factory.

LoL, how is that so? Every GD on here revolves around "waiting" for other people. Anyway, I called and talked to a guy named Mike from Custom and he's a real good guy. I asked him if I could have the deal only if they could make me the Wood Inserts with no lettering and he said he'd have to go ask somebody and then he'd get back to me some time later today. So I'll let everybody know, just in case there are others that do not want the lettering on the Inserts as well.

I just called and placed my order, sales guy told me he had 4 orders, WTH, So lets get ordering so I can save an additional $10.
I have a set of these on my 5th Gen, and I am telling you, you will love them, it really sets off the car, first thing anyone will notice when you open the door, the Bling! factor is awesome. Mine were snap in, with an adhesive strip I think, but it is a tight fit and it looks like stock, I have chrome with black lettering on a black 2000 Max.
I mean, these are normally $99 without shipping and we can get them for $70 shipped! That is over $30 off, and you will see them gleaming in the moonlight, or glearing in the sun ,everytime you get in or out of your car. I chucked that cheap piece of plastic stock door sill right in the trash.

i ordered the door sills..not too many ppl order them..i ordered on the last day and i think there was like 5? including me..n the deal is off...but yea..SWA has the door inserts fo 65bux shipped..thats a good deal..gona get them soon i hope

I just spoke to CustomMaxima, I was wondering when I would get my sill plates, they said they have been holding them waiting to reach the number of orders for the group buy discounted price.
So in other words, they have not shipped yet! They said they will be shipping late this week.

Has anyone gotten word on whether they can make the Inserts without lettering or not? I tried finding out, but the guy never ended up calling me back. IF not, I guess I'll try and get back in touch with the guy and see what the deal is.

Anyone know if these are the same AP Signworks sills that SW/Sport Compact Only sells? Also, how is the fit and finish and overall look of these (I'm interested in the aluminum/black in particular). Thanks!
