By that quote I meant that shipping is $135 to the east coast (not within throwing distance is just a metaphor). VIS only has a west coast shop located in City of Industry. So pretty much anyone who isn't in So.Cal or willing to drive a long way is going to need it shipped.

As for getting them for $400-$425 shipped I'm not sure. The lowest I've ever seen them sell an OEM hood shipped is for $435, but that was with over 15 people buying. As for getting an Invader hood in that price range...

I don't think they will ever go for it. The lowest I've seen an Invader hood go for is $475 shipped, but that was also with a GB with over 15 people.

They don't have an Invader for the 4th Gen from my understanding. Looks like they barely remade the OEM 4th Gen.

Looks like the GB is a no-go. The test fit didn't pass. It was the wrong hood

Keep in mind there is yet to be a great qualiy CF hood to be made for 4th gen max. Not that I know of at least.

The hood that they had thought was for a Maxima was actually for a Mazda 6. I think they mislabeled it or something. They said that they do have it on its way.

Doesnt Fiberimages make a good CF hood for our car? I might be mistaken though.

^^^ thats what I thought too...If I remember it is pricey...but I am looking for a high quality hood for my fourth gen....I dont mind if its a little more expensive if its high quality
