I see in the pic, the hood uses the OEM hood struts? What does that hood weigh?

Maybe its me but i want the hood to shave weight . I need to know the weights of all these hoods.

We need a hood 10-14 lbs no more.

 

im not sure what the hood weight in at i can weight mine when i get it mine hopefully i can pick it up at the end of the week time allowing. as far as it being light weight the hood will be lighter than stock but probably heavier than say a FI (fiber image)hood maybe even the GTp/importfan hoods. battlemax had an importfan hood when i seen it on his car a week and a half after he gbought the hood it had already seperated from the fiberglass frame. a week in a half????? naw ill pass on that one.

i have accually went down to the guys shop and looked at the maxima hood. the hood is heavier than my FI hood. that would have to be expected with a hood that has a full frame. these guys make very nice looking hoods i was very really impressed. i have been waiting to replace my FI hood for a while now its getting old and beat up. this is the first hood i have seen that i would want to replace my hood with.

well ill weight the hood in if i get it on friday. and hopefully i can take more detailed pictures as well.

 

Im interested. But i wont be able to get this till next month. But it seems like we can use our OEM hood struts? If thats the case im really down. I dont really care about the weight. Im mostly after the look. SO if its over 20lbs i dont mind. Does this also mean we wont have to get hood pins for this since it has a full frame?

Sorry 2kprlmax, but without seeing a pic of the hood for the max, I dont see why anyone would want that ebay item. The pic they show in the maxima auction is not a maxima hood.

 

those hoods look nice, I would be down but I to must wait till the new year. After that though I am down, cheaper then a repaint since my hood is all jacked up.

are you saying there arent any holes where the washer nozzles would go? also, is this direct bolt onto the hood struts or is modification needed. newayz, im most likely in cuz ma hood is fuktup. lemme know how much the final pricing is gonna be, im in for 300 shipped

 

300 shipped is the final pricing. i would have to look at the way the hood is set up i didn't pay attension to that. but i believe it should be bolted up with the stock mounting screws. im waiting for friday for mine.

blu - i am not trying to sell the hoods i popped in because everyone wanted a gd on the hoods. So i saw this deal on ebay and that is why I posted. I get nothing out of it it was more of an informative post. Sorry if it made it seem as I was selling the hoods.
