After I complete the ABS Dynamics lip kit GD, I'll check with them to see if they have enough CF hoods in stock to do a GD on those. They make an OEM style CF hood for 4th gens & 5th gens.

 

When VIS releases the hood for the 4th gens I will definitely be running a full VIS hood Group Deal as well.

 

I WANT THE VIS HOOD SOO BAD!!!

I bugged my rep at VIS for like a month every day until he finally agreed to make one for the 4th gens. I was so happy when he finally told me. He said 4-6 weeks about 2 weeks ago so I'd say we have a solid month or so until I can put up a deal.

I mean, I contacted the guy who owned that pic I posted he said his shop molded a Evo hood with a Maxima hood and came out with that hood, estamated cost was $1000 he said

 

i know for a fact that importfan.com makes our cf hood for our cars..and it fits great!

 

They already have an OEM style and an Invader style for the 5th Gens.

 

will the VIS have a stock OEM one?

The VIS hoods are already out for you guys! The deal will obviously be for 4th and 5th gens.

 

I certainly hope so! I'll be getting mine on that first batch!

 

That is the only hood they say for sure they will offer for the 4th gens.

Not bad price. The only way i would consider a carbonfiber hood is if it is a VIS hood. I have been quite confused for a while now as to why they never did a 4th gen GF hood but good to see that they have decided to do one. My friend has VIS hood on his S14 and fitment and quality were flawless.

I dunno, its cool but at the same time, kinda tacky. I wish custom maxima or someone still sold those MAXIMA oval emblems in black....

custom max used to sell those for 19 bucks plus shipping i believe, i recently saw a place where they had em for $14 shipped, the black oval ones...ill look for u tomorrow....
