recieved mine yesterday but didn't pick it up till today. looks good. can't wait to get it painted and bolted on. how much does it usually cost to paint this spoiler?

 

I got mine painted and installed for $150. They also painted the brake light red.

 

yea i kind of want to paint mine red also. the fact that you can see the positive and negative wires for some reason looks terrible too me.

 

Given all this extra effort, why didn't you guys ask for the red LED option?

Mojo, I got the two spoilers I ordered, thanks. I noticed, however, I never got an invoice/receipt. I save every single receipt for anything I buy for my car(s) and file them. Could I trouble you for an invoice please? Thanks.

Just my opinion - I'm not a business man - but I think if you left the price at $120 shipped, you'd get 10 after 10 after 10....

I think by making .org members wait until they get 10 people together, you end up losing customers because people like their product sent to them as soon as they send in payment. Nobody likes waiting.

Look at the history of this thread. You'll see it took months to get 10 people (and in fact I don't think you even did) but as soon as you made it 'send in payment now and you can get it for $120', you got another 5-10 or so buyers within a very short time period.

Just my humble 2 cents...

 

I am not ready to drop the regular price on the Type X Spoilers at this time. The point of the group deal is for the average customer to purchase something at wholesale pricing. If I were to drop the price to $120, then I'd have to do group deal pricing for even lower. I'm not intent on doind GD's. Its something customers request in order to get cheaper pricing. If it doesn't get to 10 people, I lose nothing. Those that want the spoiler and realize they can't count on others buy directly at regular pricing.

Basically if the price were $120 we wouldn't be having this conversation in this forum. It wouldn't be a group deal. Unreliable people are inherent in any group deal.
