all right, so after 4 hours and a lot of swearing, i've got both covers installed. tomorrow's project will be wiring them up. they look sweet right now though. any tips of how to get the wires into that bundle going into the car? my hands don't fit in the door real well...

it took two days, a lot of tools, a lot of swearing, and a couple cuts on my hand...but IT'S DONE!!! i'll try to get pics up soon (if not tomorrow). fitment was pretty good, could have been a little bit better, but nothing to complain about. installation was a lot harder than i expected though. oh well - it's done and i love them!

Nice pics, anyway you can take one from the position of a car driving behind you? I want to see how visible the LED's are from behind the car.

btw, I received mine, (thanks Maxmojo) and am now painting them. the install struggle will begin this week.

I'm sure it's fine unless your car wash has jets pointed backward at the mirror. Even then, I doubt you'd have trouble because I'm guessing the 3M tape is pretty sticky stuff. 3M is the king of adhesive technology.
