I hope the free shipping offer extends to Canadians?

Any of us ordering from north of the border will want it shipped by US Post. It should still be relatively inexpensive to ship that way, plus it will cut down on brokerage fees on our end.

 

We only ship by UPS, not the post office, and since shipping to Canada is so expensive we can't do the free shipping to Canada. Here's what I can do, it costs us about $30 to ship the pipe to Canada, we will pay half of that for you and only charge ya $15 for shipping to Canada. Sound Fair? I'll mark the customs invoice a lower value so you don't get killed by shipping. I usually don't like doing that because thats illegal and in the past we have had products seized by the government for doing that. Customs has gotten real strict.

Is there no possible way to ship by US Post?

UPS rapes us at the border, charging extra fees for collecting their own fees. Seriously, it's insane. There is usually an extra $50 in UPS fees per package.

I know I hear horror stories all the time about UPS fees being out of control. We used to mark all packages going to Canada as $5 value and as a gift, then one week all of our packages got seized by customs and we got a nice $1200 fine. Add that to the $2000+ in products that customs STILL has and will not give back. They "red flagged" us and will definately know something is up with a box that big and the value being marked low.
