it sucks..im looking to get aftermarket projectors probably but i dont know what kind of bulbs i want for them. i heard the aftermarket projectors have h3 for low beam and h3 gives off a horrible beam pattern and less light output..or so ive heard. please clarify anything if you can and leave your input on the situation
thanks

nice, so which kelvin rating would it be 6000k? or 6500k? Your in california and so am I, I just want to look like any other luxury car driving down the road. Some of the newer bmws, mercedes, and audis have awesome blue/purple hue to their xenons. What would you recommend? Reason I ask is because of the cops down here in LA. Also Ill like to change my foglights but not HID, that would just be too bright, do you supply just bulbs? If so Im looking for the most yellow ones you have

I HIGHLY recommend getting the 5000K.

It will look like all the other luxury cars, but will give you maximum output and will kep the PoPo from getting on your back.

We offer both 6000K and 5000K

does 5000k give that blue/purple hue when I go over bumps or pull out of driveways? Have you seen the new line of luxury cars? They look blue/purple while on the road driving. Also do you have just bulbs like regular non - HID ones that you can sell me?

It's a function of lights, not yours. Those look that way due to the prism of the projectors.

To mimic that affect, you should stick to 5000K, there is just enough blue/flicker in that color spectrum and you won't get pulled over

We are going to have regular bulbs by this time next Month, we're changing suppliers

What do you have for the 2005 Maximas that has one bulb for low/high beam? This one is not equipped with HIDs from the factory, so I am interested in that kind of lighting.

My guide does not show that the 2005 ever came without HID from the factory.

If you remove the Xenon package, a lot of other stuff gets tacked on without warning.
Is that what happened here?

You'll NEVER achieve that flicker unless you have projectors. NEVER. The flicker is cause because the projector bends the light. So in a reflector housing you always have one constant color no matter what.

How much for a set of high low 9004 bulbs? Will they work will a 3 gen ballast? And a set of H3 bulbs?
Also do you sell harnesses to power straight from the battery because I'm not trying to fry my factory harness?

Don't even trip even if you go 5000K or 6000K, over time the bulbs colorshift and get a bluer/purpler hue anyway.

Yea but I had just cut them on. Dats the color during warmup. Once warmed up they are a pure white, with a hint of blue green.

From what I understand, xenon HIDs are standard on the '05 SLs but optional on the '05 SE, and I have the base model SE with no options. So, I highly doubt that I have HIDs, but I could be wrong. Any way to tell for sure?

When you switch on your lights at night, do they instantly flick on really bright with a blue/white hue, quickly dim down and then gradually increase in brightness until it shines white on the ground? If so you have HIDs.

Couple ?s:
I'm looking to put HIDs into my fogs which are H3 PIAA 910s.

1. How much longer are the H3 kit bulbs? Or do you know the exact length of the bulb in that kit?

2. As long as the fogs are H3, the kit can be easily installed right (if the bulb fits)/plug & play?

3. How much for 6k D2R bulbs + H3 6k kit + the DDE ballast (still don't know what's wrong w/it..)? And, how much for a H3 5k kit + ballast only?

Thanks in advance for your reply!
