The thickness of the new rotors is over 1". I read that maxima spec shows 0.875 as standard. From that, I gather that these are incorrect.
But then what does a newbie know.

 

can you put the RTP rotor and your OEM rotor side by side see if the thickness is off, if so we'll send you new rotors.

Yes, the rotors I'm removing are 0.87" which is what the specs call for. These are noticeably thicker. Slightly over 1". I sent the PM to automax_95 on Yahoo IM. My car's on a lift till I get these.

not sure wha i should get the brembo blanks or the rtp zinc coated slotted does the zinc really resist rusting? and are the rtp ones as good as the brembos, i dont want anymore warping

I recommend you to get the RTP zinc plated slotted rotors.
Zinc plating prevent rusting.
The quality is compareable with brembo, so far we sold over thousands of sets and we haven't heard any wraping issue that is cause by bad quality rotor.
