My first time doing these on my car, I did one side in approximately 45 minutes. Its not that difficult, just time consuming depending on how you want to wire it up. There is a writeup in our forums under the "How to" section.

those chrome ones look sick man!

A bit too flashy for me but there are a bunch of people on the org who should jump at this!

I still have to install mine. I just painted them and they look sweet in super black! Hopefully they will look that good ON the car lol.

Bump bump!

Those will not be produced, it would have to be a do it yourself thing.

They stick on top of the existing mirror covers. Max99ES took some great photos after he installed his and I hosted them on my website. Take a look:

What if I want mine to be the colour of my car
Can I already order them in that colour? Or does anyone maybe know how much it costs to get them painted?

You need to get them painted on your own.

MaxMoJo, would it be a big undertaking to fabricate these for 3rd gens?

Have you tested them at high speeds, i am kind of skeptical on something that will clip on if they are gonna go on a ride of their own

How do they look "stuck" on there? Does it look good like factory? I mean do all the lines follow or do some parts stick over and would ghetto if inspected closely?

Thanks.

I had the same concern but after seeing those photos (I have the originals which are higher resolution) the fitment looks very good. From the rear of the mirror looking forward is the only angle you'll be able to tell they're covers. I've also heard of no complaints from people who've installed them.

The 4th gen Maxima has rather small side mirrors IMO and these will make them a bit bigger. The only drawback is from the rear (driver's view) you can see the mirror, the stock mirror cover, and the LED mirror cover on top of that, which is three levels and it makes the mirror itself seem kind of small in the housing. Overall I think it looks fantastic and they did a great job ensuring excellent fitment. Take a look at the close-up shots again.

It will run until we have 10 people or until the people who have already paid give up and request a refund.

I don't actually manufacture these. They come from a manufacturer that makes them for the Cefiro's. I can approach them to manufacture them for 3rd gen's but it will require a rather large minimum order. I don't think there is that much interest in them.

Ok. Well it makes more sense when you put it in that light. If you are able to find out, it would be interesting to know what that minimum order would need to be.
If this information is something you can find out relatively easily please inquire.
It would also be interesting to see how many 3rd gens would be 'genuinely' intereseted in having a set. Maybe I'll start a thread to gauge interest on this end.
