GB: 97-99 Carbon Fiber Trunklid

A few people have emailed me asking about the carbon fiber trunklids.
I am willing to set up a group buy on these for 5 people.
Price will be $600 shipped.

If this goes slowly, I will personally step up and take one spot for myself, making it only 4 people we will need for this to happen.

To purchase, please send an email to sales@paradox-systems.com with your email address so we can send you a paypal invoice.

Thank you.

Shipping to Canada - Checking on it.

Manufacturer - Paradox is, I have a manufacturer making these specifically for me.

There is no spoiler, nor mounting holes for a spoiler. It is a clean trunk, without trunk keyhole.

Here is the information from my site:

Paradox Systems is proud to announce its production of a Carbon Fiber Trunk Lid, guaranteed to fit the 97-99 Nissan Maxima. (For 95-96's, it will be a direct fit however the inner tail lights must be changed to 97-99 ones ) Each trunk lid is carefully hand made with care, paying special attention to quality. They are made with the finest carbon fiber available, using a fiberglass frame. The keyhole has been eliminated. Each trunk is protected with a UV coating, that will allow the hatch and trunk to hold its high gloss finish. This carbon fiber trunk offers a 30 pound weight reduction compared to a stock trunk. (Actual weight of CF trunk ~15 lbs, Actual weight of OEM trunk ~45lbs.) The trunk installs like a regular OEM trunk, using stock brackets. No custom work required to install.

And I would LOVE to have this trunk............................................. ........... I wish I werent broke right now....

Because these are custom ordered, I can accept a deposit to get the ball rolling however, it will be a non-refundale deposit. If you decide you don't want it anymore, you have to sell your spot or lose your money.

$300 will buy you a spot and get the ball rolling on making the actual trunk lid.

What? You don't need special tails for this to work...you can use your stock tails, unless you are 95-96 then you would need to convert.

for $600 I'd buy one for the 5th gen. The other one is $715 and that's a bit much.

Just curious, I have the cash and was going to order one this week, so if I pay the 600.00 and it takes a month or so for the the other 3-4 people will the trunk be produced before or not untill the last person pays?
Im just wondering how long it will take to recieve the trunk?
I know these are made to order and it could take 2-3 weeks to make one and would like to recieve the trunk as soon as possible if thats at all possible at this price.
If not I understand, it is a G/D.

I will start the production as soon as I receive at least deposits from 5 people.

Let's start the collection process.

Please email sales@paradox-systems.com stating that you want to participate in the carbon fiber trunk group buy and whether you will be leaving a $300 deposit or paying in full

i have question, i have a 96 max, so i would only have to change the outer and inner tail lights, and nothing else? isnt there a fitment issue with the 96 rear bumper combined with a 97-99 trunk lid? i am interested in these and would pay the full amount right away, if the 97-99 carbon fiber trunk lid has no fitment issues with 96 rear bumper i will jump on this GD asap. prob. have to do some research but if any one has any info let me know asap.

As of right now, ZERO.

A deposit will buy you a spot and when I receive 5 payments, production will begin. The balance will be due when the items are ready to be shipped. So, save your $150 for when it is ready to be shipped. Its important to get the deposit in if you want a spot.

If I don't get the 5 deposits, there is no group deal. Anyone that did send money has the option to keep their order at regular price or receive a full refund.
