+1 for maximabest for super fast shipping on my kit.
If you read my above posts before I bought this kit off him I EXPLICITLY stated what I was doing. Please read post #1328 & #1330 and tell me if I made a mistake or not. I will gladly own up if this was my mistake, but this doesn't seem to be the case. I'm also getting pressure from the bodyshop because they are trying to give my car back to me and they did me a favor by letting me get whatever headlights I wanted instead of my factory ones as a replacement. I don't have a rental car, the bodyshop is pissed at me, and I have to deal with alot more sh** than I would have if I would have just kept out of this GD. If you were in my shoes I think you'd be pretty pissed too....

On my chart and a lot webpage applications says

2001-2003 NISSAN Maxima

High & low beam headlamp
9003 / H4
9003ST High Performance Lighting: the whitest and brightest Halogen
9003XV Halogen Upgrade: Up to 30% Brighter
9003CB Halogen Upgrade: White Hot; Super Cool; 100% Street Legal

For me is easy to understand when one costumers says, "I WILL USE A D2R HID HEADLIGHT ON MY NON HID CAR", we have sold a lot of kits with d2R application.

Also i can understand you but you dont have to be rude or post all this issue, i think a lot of people here(more than 300 custumers) can tell you the great business that we have all this months and i hope i will. Its easy to contact me and tell me what happen, but you can do it in a good way or a bad way as you did, you will have the same result from me HELP YOU, but if you want to be mad, etc its your choice. Again im here to help you

For that info i was thinking that you will order a H4 with D2R shield!!!, sorry if i didnt understand what you mean.

Well i have to questions?

if you will have an D2R H.I.D headlight assemply? did you know that you will rewire the stock harness to connect the high beam in other wire and ground?. Cause your car use H4 which has high and low beam in the same bulb.

If your mechanic knows how, thats great and your car will look amazing.

Things to do:
You can return the kit to the address of the shipper, you will not spend any cent cause there is a fedex account.

I can send you a d2r kit to you after you give us the tracking info of the new shipping, etc.

Sorry for getting so angry but I did ask you a few times prior to ordering and it seemed like you didn't even read what I wrote, you just said go ahead and order and it will be fine, that is why I am angry. Secondly I still need a working kit, so if you send me the D2R kit what will it include and will I need to purchase anything extra (wiring harness...) to make it work. Also if you send me a D2R kit will it plug into my factory wiring harness? Because you told me these wsould fit I cancelled an order I had to purchase a full set of brand new 2002 housings with the ballasts and bulbs and paid a $19 fee to cancel and on top of that I purchased an empty set of 2002 housings from someone. This is the second reason I am pissed off. I imagine you would be too if this happened to you, it looks like I will end up with exactly what I had initially ordered (new housings w/ ballasts and bulbs) except mine will be used and I will have paid more and gone through a bigger headache to get it....If you can get me bulbs that fit my 2002 housings and a wiring harness that connects to my factory 2001 wiring that is what I want.

Also your webpage is incorrect, only the 2000-2001 take the H3 bulbs, the 2002-2003 came stock with HIDs.

well i have a lot of costumers with 03 cars without hid, anyway this is not the issue.

the D2R kit you can use it without any problem. If you look the 3 wires socket, you will connect the kit wires on the 2, one on the positive low beam wire and one on the negative wire. Also you will see that you have one empty hole on the h4 factory socket, so thats the high beam wire. Its easy to any mechanic take that wire and connect to the 9005 bulb and the ground can be used with the one that you have already use with the kit.

But PLEASE understand what im telling you, i dont want to have problemas anymore and see more rude replys on this forum. HID HEADLIGHT HAS ONE HID BULB AND ONE HALOGEN BULB FOR THE HIGH BEAM so you have to tell the installer how to do to have the high beam option.

Also if you can we can contienue resolving this by PM i dont want to add more pages on this thread with reply, comments, reply, etc. For me is easy and fast goes thru PM.

I am about 90% sure I want one as long as the price is the $265 price and the install for my maxima is not PIA. I did the tracking number and it is scheduled for delivery for tomorrow. Holy chit that is super quick shipping. I will install these during the week and if it goes fairly easy I will more than likely buy an H1 kit as long as you have some.

This is super quick shipping. I ordered on Thursday and they were knocking on my door at 9:30 in the morning today. That is quick for being the weekend.

I am not the seller, but a buyer, I would guess if you ordered today you would have by the weekend. Crazy fast shipping.

maximabest, I got the replacement bulbs and harnesses last night. I get my car back from the shop today and since they were getting "ancy" I told them I'd install the bulbs and stuff on my own. thank you for working with me and getting the problem taken care of. I have to say you definately exceeded my expectations and will definately order from you again when I look into the HID fog conversion.
Thanks Again!

Hey, quick question. The power plug coming out of my car for the headlight has 3 outlets, two vertical ones on the side and one horizontal one on the top. Which outlets should I be using to plug in the red and black wire out of the kit?

What's up MaxBest.

I decided that I will probably just get another 9K kit as I'm not sure if it's my bulbs, a bad ground or something with the ballast or igniter. Is the 9000K H4 kit still $285 (or possibly went down)? lol j/k

Thanks.

That sounds like the kit I have but my car does not have that...I think. nadeemp8 where is that plug on your car if it is easy to describe. I have no idea how to hook to my car, the kit was super simple to put together, but making the last link to my car I am CLUELESS.

Well I think your plug will be different since I have an 01 and you have an 04. Mine is just the plug that would normally plug into the regular lightbulb. The kit is designed to plug into that plug, so your kit should fit without any modification, you may just have to figure out which contacts need to mate with what as in my case...

i have a pearl white max and have been running piaa plasma fogs and while i absolutely loved the color, (especially the purple hues against my pearl white max with polarg white out sides) they blow too quickly. i looked at all these pics on here but so limited vs seeing in person. Are the fogs really bright where people are flashing you? Also how long have you guys had them? do they fade or blow quickly? i like to drive in rain or dusk alot with just fogs and running lights.

i did'nt mind how there was a slight variation in color between piaa's and stock hids, actually prefered it but i do intend to change hids as well. Are people happy with the 6k on both? i love how the accuras and new max's and bmw's can be seen and identified from miles away. i've never seen hid kits or diff rateings in person other than stock vechicles with diff hids and i don't know what there k rateings even are, just know i like them. i was maybe thinking 7k headlights and 7-9 k fogs? So hard to decide off of pics only????thanks in advance for any help you can provide, pasquale
