i'm thinking if i'm going to spend this kind of money on all new lighting i want a bmw, mercedes type of ridiculous purple/blue look. something that will stand out but not look too much or rice. Anyone know what k rateings bmw mercedes use or is it because they are projector that they get such a nice color? or anyone know what the tl accuras use?

 

hi there, its easy, you can make a test of your car, the one horizontal is the ground i think and the right one is the low beam, if not you can find out hehehe

thanks but i did check it out earlier, but again it's a pic,and in the pic it looks like fogs are much brighter than headlights, are they like that in person or just pic distortion? aslo hids look like one big blob of light which i know is pic distortion. is there any stock hids that run 6k and if so what are they so i can see them in person.thanks

its the camera, you can pm nismax and he will tell you the same, the kit look amazing in person, not glare

i'm leaning towards top 7k bottom 8-9 or top 6k bottom 7k but again hard to make a decision when you have no idea what they look like in person. for example in the beginning of this thread...when looking at the pic from inside the car the 7k look nice and purple but looking at actual headlight they only look slightly more than the 6k??? pics are so inaccurate for the light outputs on these.

jreilly04, i have the 2k3 hids and think the k4300 is just too plain, not enough color for me. i want to upgrade but not sure because i have not seen any of these diff k rateing in person. i love your stock 2k4 max color however, so do you know what your stock k rateings are? i'd like even a little more purple if possible, just don'yt know how to achieve this. thanks

I just put the HID's in Today the 9003 H4 HI/LO Kit looking very nice I must say... Took a few to figure the wiring out espically in the artic weather we are having in MASS...

I have to say I'm very impressed with the color of my 7000K bulbs. I think they are very close to the color mercedes/bmw uses but without the projector....
