Don't know if you got my email. So I'll just post my question up here instead.

Regarding the h4 hi/lo kit, will the mini halogen bulb be replaceable if it's damaged?

hi there kekela, the best for your safe is that the kit comes with extra bulbs for luck, we have sold tons of H4 H/L without any problem and the costumers keep the relpacement bulbs for long time. So i think you will be fine.

Best Regards.

maximabest I received the kit yesterday and it took me maybe a total of 30 minutes from the time I opened the hood to the time I closed it. The install was extremely easy! Compared to the Hella kit I used to have which had 2 seperate ground wires and 2 seperate power leads which had to be run to the battery - this kit was CAKE!
I am EXTREMELY satisfied with the results and will DEFINITELY look for you if I need to purchase any more kits.
So far, I have only about 5 hours total of driving time on them but I am very happy with the kit.
Thank you very much.

I just installed the 5kK 9004 Lo-only kit and the light is phenomenal!
When you first turn your lights on the bulb has a little bit of a blue glow to it and the light output is a slight purple-yellow (similar to stock HIDs on Acuras, for example (4300K)). After about 5 mins that color goes away and the light is just PURELY AND AWESOMELY WHITE! Matter of fact, the light is so white it's almost like SILVER! You can still tell by looking at the housing that there is a slight blue to it but it is not that noticable. However, from inside the car, everything is lit up pure white - like silver!
Very wide and "tall" field of vision the light provides... 300% improvement!
But I had to have my lights re-aimed down a few degrees today b/c they shine a bit too high with the HIDs and it could blind people.
They are worth every penny!

Alrite, So I did the 9004 to 9007 conversion and also have the upgraded harness.

Let's say I were to get a kit, would I still be able to use the 9007? and would the wiring be anymore complicated since I have an upgraded harness already?

aapp thanks a lot for your comments, you are totally right this kit is the best on the market and the light output is amazing.

anarchy dont worry you just need to identify the harness the post and the neg and that it, just connect the the wires.

flipxmaxima you just need the kits and that`s it, the 95 -99 maxima use 9004 for headlights and h3 for fog lights.

Anarchy57 I also did the 9007 conversion on my Maxima and it was a piece of cake to install the lights. There is no change in wiring. This kit is a true plug and play. It's awesome.

Hi Maximabest. I finally have put some money together to get a nie HID kit for my 01 Max. You seem like a really great guy to do business with not to mention the lifetime waranty. Now here is my question. I am having trouble deciding between the regualr H4 kit and the hi/lo kit. Is it worth the extra money? I think I remember reading that the hi/lo kits tend to break more easily and tha tthe mechanism stop working after some time. Is this true?

In addition I am thinking of the 6000K kit to have a nice balance of lumens (better than stock) and a nice blue color. Is the 6000K right for me? Sorry for all these questions and thanks for your time. Please let me knwo as soon as you get a chance. Thanks.

thanks for the reccomend. The reason I wanted the Hi/Lo was not because of the light on the road but so that I can signal people who cut in front of me... Any reason you wouldn't go with the hi/lo? Thanks.

zgrm100- i would also recomend the regular bulbs not the hi/low. this is why... one of the coolest things i thought with my HIDs was how they turn on very bright flash now think when your lights are in the highbeam position theres no lights so with that being said somone cuts you off all you do is flick your headlight lever from high to regular beam fast and it looks like a dang strobe light on the road and freaks people out its AWSOME! no need for high beams trust me!!!

joosdawg,
So do you mean even w/o the Hi/Lo H4 Kit, we can still flash from hi to lo on the light switch and flash ppl?? Please clarify, I haven't installed my H4 yet. Thanks.

What he means is that if you don't have HI/LOW HIDs you can still pull the stalk to flash your higs but all it will do is shut off your lights momentarily and then turn them back on...

But I don't think that's the smartest thing to do... You can fok up your ballast and/or ignitor that way, I believe.

2 years ago at the NYC auto show some clown in an IS300 kept turning the lights on and off for almost 5 minutes straight. The final time he turned them on they flickered like crazy and went dead...

im saying that when you have your light switch set to your high beams there is no light and of course once back to low beam you have light. The way that hid's turn on they make like a bright flash when warming up so if somone cuts you off all you so is slap the headlight stick from high beams to low super fast and all you get is the HID's igniting very bright and fast and it looks like a strobe light lighting up the whole road your sure to freak them out. does that make sense? they turn off and back on like twisting the lever from parking lights to low beams cept when you slap the blinker stick as fast as you can it turns them on and off in an awsome super bright pattern all over the road and looks sick just trust me... when you install yours wait til its completly dark go to the road and try it it looks cool. if you dont think so, go outside and have somone do it while you watch its sweet lol. i figured this out because Eckohb and i were driving and he did it to me so i told him how cool it looked in the dark so we checked it out and i used it a few times, it also gets people to turn there headlights on when its dark and they dont have them on. -Ryan

yep, thanks guys. Pretty much set on the regular beam H4 6000K Just last question. The waranty is for everything right? So in case one of my lights burns out I can send it to you maximabest right? and you will replace it for life correct? And lastly how would you like to recieve payment? thanks.

In addition, does the kit come with everything I need for the install including instructions like where and how to mount the igniters and such. I have never done anything like this before so I have no idea where and how to mount it.
