I just finnished my install. The 4 busning pairs for the shift assembly base are a friggin pain. Anyone who has not doen their install yet - make sure to remove the whole shift assembly from the console. you will have to unclip the spring clips that hold the shift cables in place and dissconnect the crossover linkage. If you do this right away, it will be easy. I didn't and had one of my base bushings roll down and under my carpet where it will never be found again.
Any chance of getting just a single 1189 spacer busing from the energy busing kit brian?
Does anyone here know the proper procedure for adjusting the crossover linkage cable? That would be the most likely problem with not being able to hit reverse. Mine is difficultish as well. I could just adjust my xover linkage until it is smoother, but I would really like to know the proper procedure.
