Hi! The shipping for a full kit to NJ is 110 to any type of address. So your grand total is $485 shipped.

Please send your payment to sales@ionicdynamics.com and please mention what type of rear valance and front lip you want.

Thanks!

Jose.

Are you thinking about maybe doing the full rear valance in a dual setup? I would be interested. As well, I saw that dash cover piece in CF, do you sell those? and if so how much do they run?

Ok so I will go one by one:

MrRogerStatus: Please post or email me your zip code so I can get a shipping quote for you, I can definitely give you the GD price since we are going to hold another GD on the 95-96 kits very soon. I didn't reply sooner because I'm not getting any emails notifying me about new posts.

Thanks guys!

Jose.
I appologised if i came off a bit harsh, it just that i've been waiting for responses from 5 different sellers/companies, so i got a little irritated.

My zip is 11210

Thank you very much for your response.

No hard feelings, I know how frustrating it can get when you can't reach someone.

The shipping for your area is $102. Your grand total would be $477 shipped. If you are planing on sending your payment via paypal then please send it to sales@ionicdynamics.com and please be sure to specify what type of front lip and rear valance you would like.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Is the 95-96 kit available yet?

The price for the full kit shipped to your area is $485. If you just wan the lip + side skirts then the price would go down to $395 shipped.

Please send your payment to sales@ionicdynamics.com Please be sure to mention what type of front and rear you want with your order.

Thanks!

It's not available just yet, but we have the lip on order and should arrive any day now. After that we have to make the mold and start presing them out.

As soon as we have them available we will do an intro post and GD too.

Thanks!

The one piece rear valance would be hard for us to make in a dual setup because the OEM bumper doesn't have an indentation on the drivers side for the exhaust hole. But it's not hard for a body shop to cut that hole in when the rear valance in installed. Several customers have modified the one piece rear valance to accommodate a dual exhaust setup, and they all have mentioned that they like the one piece rear because it keeps most of the exhaust out of sight.

The dash that you saw was a 300zx dash that we wrapped in CF. These are labor intensive applications and we charge around 900 dlls to do that type of work.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Hi guys!

mrmaxima97: The lowest price on a CF kit is $750 shipped.

NismoMaxman2: side skirts will fit perfectly. The one piece rear valance is longer and the shape is different as well, so it would require a lot of trimming and cutting to get it to fit a 95-96 max.

kormax97: I will email you in a minute

Kevlo911: Sounds good to me.

I just sent you a PM for the shipping on the front lip, but the shipping for the front lip and sides costs a little more. The grand total for the side skirts and front lip shipped to your area is: $402

Yes the side skirts will fit on a 95-96.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Jose.

Hi! As with any kit you will have to do some sanding before you paint it, but it's not as much work as you would need to do on it like a urethane lip kit that requires the it to be washed and scrubbed with soap an watter, or a low quality fiberglass kits that will require a lot of sanding and filling. This kit needs very minor sanding and prep work.

The shipping for the full kit is 102 to your location.

Hi! shipping costs have gone up since last year, the cost to have a full kit shipepd to you is $102. I have at least 3 other 95-96 orgers waiting for a full kit, if we get more than 5 full kits sold on the second round of the GD then we will be able to offer even lower shipping discounts. The lip will be delivered tomorrow so we will be able to start working on that ASAP.

Please keep an eye out for the 95-96 lip to be available within 4 weeks

Thanks!

Jose.

I was considering some of these parts, but was wondering about stuff.
Isn't FRP mean fiberglass? It is totally different than urethane, and if made properly it should not be so flexible.
What type of warranty is there as far as these parts going bad or getting damaged too easily? I know the Stillen parts are the highest quality and take a lot of abuse, so i'm trying to compare the options. Thanks.

86maxima96: Hi! I'm picking the prototype lip up today, after that I will have to make some minor changes and adjustments to it. I estimate that the whole project will take us less than 4 weeks to complete.

FRP means Fiber Reinforced Plastic, we special order resins from our suppliers that give these parts it's flexible properties. All of our parts have a 90 day warranty against defects in materials or workmanship.

The main difference between our kits and urethane kits is that FRP kits are easy and inexpensive to repair and can take a lot of abuse. Any body shop can repair this kit at a low price. A urethane kit is possible to fix, but many shops won't guarantee that the repair work will last and the costs are considerably higher.

We have sold many of these kits over the years in fiberglass and in FRP, I had one of my old fiberglass lips on my maxima for years and it never broke.

Its easy to compare your options, 700+shipping for a full urethane kit or 375+shipping for an FRP kit.

Please let me know if you have any more questions.

Awesome! And great price! But sorry, one other thing. When you say you are picking up the lip, does that mean just the front lip, or the entire lip kit? I would assume you could use the sides from the 97-99 kit for the 95-96 kit, but the front and rear would need a new mold. I'm just not sure if you are working on a whole lip kit, or just the front lip.

Thanks

Hi! No problem Yes we will have a full kit available, the side skirts fit all 95-99 maximas and we have a 95-96 two piece rear valance available too, so the only missing part of the kit that we didn't have was the 95-96 front lip.

Thanks!

Ok, thanks for the response. So these kits are really just fiberglass, but they use a more flexible resin than normal. I was just confused about why it wasn't simply called a fiberglass kit, but FRP makes it seems different. From seeing other parts like the 5th gen front bumper, i'm gonna guess these use mostly fiberglass mat too, instead of the stronger woven fabric, so i dunno if i want to risk putting it on my car.
I will think about it, and will wait to see pics. The price of a urethane kit doesn't bother me, as long as it holds up. Thanks!

You are confused, FRP is a different type of composite, but can be reinforced with many types of fabrics like fiberglass that you mention (mat of woven fabric) or carbon fiber, kevlar, hybrid or roven mats work with it as well.

You have to keep in mind that the important component in a composite is the bonding material "matrix". For example CF manufactured using a regular polyester resin is brittle, but when used in conjunction with an epoxy resin it's many times stronger. It's the same thing here with FRP.

What year is your 4th gen? I can only see a 2K3 listed in your profile.

If you have any more questions feel free to email me or send a PM.

Thanks!

Jose.

Ok, sounds great. This seems like a great alretnative to the Stillen kit. I'm interested to see what the front lip looks like.
