We're pleased to announce that the new Cattman Performance Cattback Exhaust System for the 04-06 Maxima is in stock, ready to ship, in Sport and Touring versions (the Touring model has a large resonator, the Sport does not).

The system is all stainless, w/ 2.5" tubing back to the muffler split. Twin Magnaflow mufflers sound great through dual tips on each side. All tubing sections are connected with bolted flanges, not clamps. Dyno tests are pending, but we expect at least 10hp.

Note how nicely the mufflers are tucked up in the body, better than others we see out there. Everything is very durable, with only the best materials and workmanship - no reason these systems wouldn't last the lifetime of the car.

Wondering about sound? For the first time in a Maxima exhaust, you can choose your volume without any loss in power because the gen6 Cattman catback comes with or without a resonator.

The Touring version (part #CB-G6RES) is resonated with a very moderate volume. Few will consider it too loud, but some may find it too quiet. The Sport version runs without a resonator but due to the twin mufflers its nothing like an un-resonated 4th or 5th gen Max. Either way, the tone is deep and mellow and most non-gearhead passengers like it too. It will sound especially nice with Cattman headers (not yet, next project).

The retail price is $800, including installation kit, and we'll sell the first dozen for $775 + shipping (and these ship in one box instead of two, so the maximum ground shipment is under $50). The resonated version is normally $840, but we'll include it in this deal for $800. I don't necessarily see a catback group deal on the horizon, but we are going to do a y-pipe group deal in a couple of weeks and there will be a discount on other exhaust parts that are purchased at the same time.
