I picked up my 3rd Maxima - a very nice conditioned 96 GLE with a crap load of miles - $1,400 with around 200k - Sold were my first Maxima's, the 96 & 99 SE's.

I'm currently comparing vs KYB AGX's vs Tokico Illumina's... going rate for the Illumina's are $450-480 and I am considering pairing them with either H&R or Eibach.

Hey there looking to get front mounts, front bellows and rear bellows. I added them to my cart but there was only one strut mount available (and it does not state whether it includes the bearing or not) but the first post states that there are two. One with a bearing one without...I'm looking for the one with the bearing. While I'm at the first post there is no price for the bellows it states NA.

here is the part number on the site for the front mounts:

NOTE ok i just browsed through the OEM section....DER do those boots fit...it's a tad confusing since there are 2 places where it states KYB products?

This part is the Front Mount that includes the Bearing.

discountautoshocks.com is cheaper for the kyb gr-2 for 2003 nissan maxima i bought mine from there came out to 303 with shipping....and if you find it cheaper they price match my invoice came out to 430 and that was with moog sway bar linkage, energy suspension bushing, and front strut mounts... and djfreestyle did a great job installing it if you life in the jersey area. I posted the invoice below.

Hey Guys I have a 2004 maxima SE 90k and I want to change out my entire front suspension. Heard kyb's are good but what springs would you recommend (don't want it too low or too harsh of a ride) and how much would everything cost me?

going back to stock; are KYB's an acceptable strut or are they really just designed to be coupled with aftermarket springs?

 

Yes, the KYB GR-2's are basically an OEM equivalent. They are best suited for OEM springs. So they would be perfect if you're just trying to return the car to stock.

 

im shopping around for a shock and strut set front and rear do you have the AGX's for the 00 i30? and how much shipped to 21207?

 

hi im new to the suspension thing and im trying to replace my stock shocks on my car with something better i was given lowering spring from a friend they are Tein the gold colored ones and wanted to put them on the new shocks what would be suitable for these springs as well
