Can this change be made through inside the car or does it have to be under the car (removing the heatshield, etc.)?

ASFIAK, you have to access it from beneath the car.

In case you were still wondering, the heatshield needs to be removed AT MINIMUM. It's also much, much easier to do if you move to the exhaust out of the way or just take the cat off the car altogether.

Mine still isn't yet because I've been saving money for tires and haven't had the chance to buy cat gaskets so I can remove mine and install the new bushing

I have a B&M short throw shifter(yet to be installed) for my 95 Maxima. Would adding one of your shifter bushings improve the overall effect of the B&M or not? The shifter and bushing are seprate correct?

The B&M is pretty tight at the begining, but loosens up over time. Mine has been installed for over 5 years now and has some play in it, this would be a great thing to do while your under there.

Carnal - What is the turn around time if I send you a core?

Why is nobody returning the cores?
Im waiting for mine to do 5sp swap and he told me about 15 people steal the cores by not returning them.
Get your core charge and send them back! You know who you are!

From what he tell me, they don't really "fill" them. Only use the housing to make a new one.

Sure Bro you can get one, if you have a 5 speed swap coming along you'll have a core for the shifter bushing.
PM me for info

tis true, the only thing that remains is the brackets for the mounting points and the rest is a urethane bushing.

What is the price on them again?..

Is the core needed?..i am picking up a pacesetter STS since B&M discontinued it and i dont wanna get ****ed on a fake one..so i'll play it safe with a pacesetter STS..

I would like to purchase this poly filled bushing..if you need the old one.. the thing is. if i pay for the bushing. i dont know when im going to get it installed..

How much does the dealer charge for the part and what do they call them exactly. i might just buy a new one and send that in to you so you can poly fill a brand new one

either way. i am definitely interested in this

You can pay the full amount and if you can get the core back in a reasonable amount of time we can give you the core refund.

we have a few available right now so you can buy one now and see if you can get the core back in to us as soon as you can for the refund!
