Read just above your post. It's going to be $70 now since he has to buy new cores, and then you get a little back when you ship him your old one.

well ok let me try to clarify this, well because I had four cores to start with and ended up with like one I was short on cores, I bought two more at the beginning of this year which have now been sent out. My cost on new bushings from Nissan went up alot and the fact that they arent getting returned makes it hard to get to everyone on the list in a reasonable time.
New price is 70 with a $25 refundable core charge, I have room for about two of you to pay 70 and get $10 refundable core charge just so I can buy more new bushings and I can jump and get them out faster and cut down on the list. Now I hope you understand I dont want to buy like 10 cores and give everyone full core refunds and end up at the end of this with 10 shifter bushings that dont sell. this is just a way that you can get your bushings faster and have less of a wait (which is waaayyyy to long for everyone i know)

let me know how many of you guys want to do the 'above' plan, cores come in so slow that the urethane goes bad before its able to be used which= pain in the azz and not worth the trouble

Oh well, at least you righted your wrong. Time for us to pump some life back into this "product" and keep it alive.
Too bad I'll be driving to MD this coming weekend, so I won't have time to put mine on

Since I have to replace my MMs, I might as well do this to aleviate some of the slop in the shifter train.
Where is the deal currently at? Pay 70 up front to get one shipped to me and then I get 10/25 back when I ship my core back?

That's what it's at currently. He should have some more used cores to work with here shortly since some of us bit the bullet and got new OEM ones, so the price may drop down for a short time. You picked a good time to want one.

Attempted to install mine tonight and hit a road bump. Getting the heat shield off was easy enough, the problem is getting access to the 14mm bolt that holds the linkage to the bushing. I simply did not have the room to jerk it loose, because it's on tight and the bushing will stretch/rotate as you apply torque to it. Looks like my exhaust needs dropped first. No idea how those other guys were able to get that nut off without dropping the exhaust.

FINALLY got mine in today. Installation was more or less what people have described already. I have about 120k on the original, so for me there was an immediate and noticeable improvement. Sloppy shifts, be gone!

So what is the status of getting one of these now - go I need to send my old one in first, or put up a core fee, or what? So much has changed and I honestly don't feel like reading through all 12 pages and 3 years of history...
