Please excuse these basic questions...Just checking that these lights fit the 97-99 Max without modification? Any wiring, bulbs, etc. needed? Thanks mikey

 

It will need some modification to fit the 97-99 Max. Its the I30 that its a direct fit for. For the maxima, you will need to cut one bracket behind the headlight (that separates the two stock pieces) in order to fit the one piece headlight. You will also need to play with it to fit the way you want and use weatherstripping or some other material to fill in any gaps.
Also, these headlights use H4 bulbs instead of the stock 9004. I am including the harnesses that you will need to wire into the stock wiring.

 

how much for pick-up?

 

We do not have a shop for you to come pick up, the only pick ups I will do are in groups, not individuals. If that happens, $160...

Are these the OEM's or other brand aftermarkets??

 

Clear ones are Nissan OEM. Smoked ones are aftermarket.

Do you just sell the wire harness? if so, how much,because I need a updated wire harness that can withstand the high wattage and heat of the Nokya stage 2 light bulbs...

We do not sell an upgraded wire harness. The only harness we have is a regular h4 harness to splice into the stock wiring for cefiro installation.

 

can you ship to canada?? Maybe as a gift LOL(customs issues). Also, is it because you are clearing them and will not be available later. How long is this deal gonna last. Just curious so i can plan it all out.

 

is the lense of the these head lights glass or plastic?. i just bought the head lights from custom maxima , its the headlights with black housing. they are mead of glass and i dropped one and i broke. now im stuck cause they wont sell me one lamp or even give me a discount on a set.

how is the light out put on these as compared to diamond clear head lamps that are available for the max ? any pics of the out put light?

 

I personally don't have any.. Cefiro headlights use H4 Bulbs which supposedly give a better pattern than the stock 9004 bulbs..

hey ya'll these are good headlights....the beam patterns are a little better with the H4 lights. Maxmojo is a good guy...I've bought 2 sets from him...one is E60 Retrofitted and the other is a spare. I'm sure you won't have any problems with the lights or the seller. Even though he didn't offer a free harness at the time, and mine was more when I bought mine...(keep in mind this was months ago)hehehe But you will be please with the product and they look nice.

I want feedback from those who boought it and upgraded to h4 bulbs. How is the beam pattern?

 

i have cefiro's on my current car,

i had the h4 harness but i didn't have the harness to fit the side corners. does this kit include them?.

also is the oem clear lights more durable than the aftermarket smoked ones?

 

It does not come with harnesses for the side corners. That is part of the harness that is on the cefiro and they do not sell them separately.

I would say both headlights are just as durable, if I had to pick one, I would say the oem ones are more durable.

 

so the side corners are not functional? unless you find a harness for it?

 

They are functional. People have cut their stock harnesses a little in order for it to fit into the new one.

 

ok Im very interested in the smoked ones, but I just want to make sure I have some questions answered first. When you say you need a H4 harness does that mean I need HID lighting or is that just for fitment issues? Also When you say the stock corner lights will work if you cut them a little, what do you mean, what do you need to cut?

You don't need HID lighting unless you want it. Stock headlights use 9004 bulbs, cefiro headlights use H4 Bulbs. That's what the harness is for, to allow for the new style bulbs. The harness you have will not work, you will still need to splice in h4 sockets in order for it to work. The corner lights, its up to you how you want to do it, some people splice into the new socket or take the stock socket (as i mentioned) and cut a little off the locking nubs for it to fit the new headlight. Once you compare the two for yourself, it will be more apparent.
