The Ea filters are not designed to be washed...they're easily cleaned with low pressure compressed air or with a shop vac.
I've sent a note to AMSOIL tech services and will let you know what they say. I should have a reply tomorrow. I'm not terribly optimistic on this one.

AMSOIL Tech Services said that you will probably need to replace it. Pls send me a PM with your zip code or state of residence if you want me to send you a quote...and it was the EaA-74 for the stock airbox, or one of the CAI induction filters???
19152, it was the EaA-74 filter. I didn't mention this when I first got it but are the filter suppose to hang loose inside the airbox? I had the Nissan air filter before this and it did not hang loose like the Amsoil one.

Sent you a PM with pricing for a new one. These filters have excellent seals...they're thick and pliable...probably moreso than the OEM filters. I have these filters in each of my vehicles and they fit pretty snug...several other customers have commented on how good the seal is and how tight they fit...particularly on the models where the filter slides into the housing. I wouldn't be too concerned if it is not exactly tight in the box, because when the lid is clamped down there is a very good seal and absolutely no possibility of unfiltered air leaking in around it.

Nice! They match the color of the car!
AMSOIL Ea filters are the most efficient air filters on the market today. I can also get these filters packaged with an Injen CAI for many applications.
Let me know if you want a price on engine/drivetrain lubricants.
Thanks for your order...glad to help.

Glad to help. Please send me a PM with your state of residence or zip code. This will enable me to calculate the correct state sales tax amount and determine from which Product Center your product will be shipped. I look forward to helping you.

Thanks for contacting me...glad to help. My application guide shows total capacity of your transmission of 9 quarts. If you're going to do a drain and refill you will probably need between 4 and 5. Any fluid you have left over can (and should) be used in your power steering, so it won't go to waste. I've sent you a PM with a quote for 9 quarts and for 5. Please let me know if you need to make any adjustments to the order...thanks
Looking for some ATF shipped to 32119. I have 5 quarts already, and want to do a flush on my 97, with a transmission cooler installed. A gallon and 3 quarts should be enough, but would it be cheaper just to get 2 gallons?
