Those filters are good for 4-years/100,000 miles...they're easily cleaned by carefully/gently going over them with a shop vac, or you can blow them out from the inside with low-pressure compressed air. The nano-fibers on the filter trap dirt on the surface making it very easy to clean...no soap, no water, no oil to mess with...the dirt should come right off of it. I cleaned my panel filter a couple weeks ago with my shop vac, with the brush attachment. It cleaned up pretty good.

If you want to buy a new one, pls send me a PM with your name and approximate timeframe when you bought the filter. I'll try to look up the order from that information to see what part number you have.

thx

Need a quote for 5 quarts of ATF for a 99 max shipped to 24060.

Is it cheaper to get a 1 gallon container + 1 quart?

Sent you a PM with the cost and ordering information. It's less expensive if you go will the gallon container versus individual quarts...so that's what I quoted. Pls let me know if I can help. thx

Please send me quote for a case of ATF shipped to 28134.

In a separate quote please send me shipped prices for
1 case of 5W30

In yet another quote please send me shipped price for
1 case of 5w20

They all go to 28134.

Thankx

Does Amsoil make a straight 40w? If not, I'll need a quote on the 60w versus 20w-50motor oil, I need a case (10 or 12 quarts?). I also need 5 quarts of 75-90 gear oil. Better to reach me at my regular email: Mxmumpwr@aol.com

AMSOIL has announced that they will hold pricing constant through July, but must implement a price increase to be effective 1 August.

The explosive cost of petroleum is hitting the company like it is everyone else. AMSOIL has seen a tremendous increase in the cost of raw materials/chemicals, transportation, packaging, and general operating expenses. AMSOIL is sensitive to their dealers and customers, and limits such price increases to the absolute minimum amount needed to cover the increase in costs.

AMSOIL remains an excellent value considering the performance of the products, extended drain capability, convenience, increased fuel economy, environmental benefits and long-term component reliability. If you plan to keep your car for a long time, this is the way to go.

I will post revised pricing when it becomes available. Order before the end of July to avoid the price increase.

My local parts store has AMSOIL Severe Gear, its 75w-90w GL-5 rated.. I was told i could use GL-5, that its just a newer BETTER standard of gear oil. Obviously I need GL-4... at least?

Can I use the GL-5 in my car? 92 SE.. this seemed like the best place to ask
thx.. And a PM with a price for 5 qts of 75-90w GL-5 shipped to 01085, OR the GL-4 if I CANT use the severe gear GL-5 rated stuff.

GL-4 is the correct fluid for your vehicle. GL-5 oils contain about twice the amount of EP additives GL-4 lubes do, and these additives can adversely affect synchronizer operation and in some cases the aggressive nature of the additive package can attack the soft metals in the gearbox.

AMSOIL Severe Gear oil is an excellent fluid for GL-5 applications, specifically rear differentials, and it is better than any GL-5 oil on the market, all factors considered. However, AMSOIL GL-4 is equally as good for applications requiring a GL-4 lubricant.

Sent you a PM with the cost and ordering information. Please let me know if I can help.

AMSOIL GL-5 Gear Oils fall into "families" of synthetic oils including : Severe Gear, Long-Life, and Synthetic Gear oil. For most differential applications, Severe Gear is the top choice, followed by Long-Life and then by the regular Synthetic lube.

The GL-5 75w-90 is available in the Severe Gear and Long-Life formulations. 80w-90 is only available in the regular synthetic line. AMSOIL gear oils are compatible with most limited slip differentials; however, if limited slip differential chatter does occur, add AMSOIL Slip-Lock™ friction modifier additive (~$6/bottle).

Please clarify which 75w-90 you prefer, Severe Gear or Long Life; and whether you want to stick with the 80-90 Synthetic or go with the 75w-90 Severe Gear since you requested that line of oil.

I'm clear on the GL-4.

Let me know what you decide and I'll send you the total cost.

thx

Got it. I'll place the order first thing in the morning when AMSOIL opens for business. Since tomorrow is Friday, your oil should be delivered early next week...perhaps as soon as Monday. AMSOIL/UPS will send me an e-mail notification when your order is shipped. I will forward it to you or send you a PM with the UPS tracking number and scheduled delivery date.

Concerning the weight, 75w-90 is the best weight for your application. This oil is specifically formulated to provide smooth shifts while protecting bearings, gears and seals regardless of operating temperature. I've sold a lot of this oil to our members and the feedback has been overwhelmingly positive.
