AMSOIL Announces 1 Nov Price Increase
As many of you know, I offer AMSOIL products to our members for Dealer Cost. http://forums.maxima.org/showthread.php?t=480065
AMSOIL recently announced that due to escalating production costs, they must raise prices effective 1 Nov 06. While the increase is not huge, I wanted to give you a heads-up in case you are contemplating an order and want to beat the price increase. Prices on ATF, and the 100% synthetic and Series 2000 oils will increase by $1.80/case, the popular MTG 75w-90 GL-4 Gear Oil will go up 40 cents/qt, Ea oil filters will go up 15 cents each.
Every lubricant manufacturer has been hit with rising chemical costs on a consistent basis for the past two years. Every motor oil company, not just AMSOIL, has been forced to raise its prices. The major oil companies have all raised their prices again recently, usually from 4 to 10 percent. AMSOIL's modest price increses are a direct reflection of increased production costs.
If you want to take advantage of the current pricing, I will need to have your orders in-hand NLT Sunday night, 29 Oct. That will allow me a day or two to get the orders placed before the close of the business-month.
Let me know if I can help...
