i dont think theres any other way to "reduce glare" ... unless you perform a retrofit.

Most people put the ballast on the 5mph re-bar behind the front bumper. If you take off your splash guard under your front bumper, you should be able to see it.

Our H4 kits (what 97 Nissan Maxima uses) comes with a glare shield which reduces glare considerablely.

I am also interested in a bi-xenon HID kit for a 2001 maxima. Can you PM me with all of the needed information, and possibly point me in the direction of some installation instructions please? Thank you

Your 2001 Nissan Maxima uses an H4 bulb. You would need our Bi-xenon H4 kit to keep your highs and lows and your foglights use an H3 bulb. As for the 2005 Ford F250 uses Halogen bulbs, then it has H13's for the high and low beam (dual filliment) and 9145 for the foglights. Let me know you're e-mail address so we can better communicate.

I have a 2000 maxima and wanted to put HID in it, and after all the reading I have done, I am assuming I need the Bi-xenon b/c I want to keep my hi/low beams.

I am wondering if anyone could give me advice if I need to get new projectors too because I read that I should do a retrofit instead of simply putting HID into my current headlight projectors. I find them all over ebay for around 200-300 for a pair, but wanted some advice from people who know about retrofitting better. Thanks.

If you were to buy aftermarket projector headlamps (like the whole headlamp with projectors in it) from ebay, you will have a very nice cut off line comparable to that of a factory HID. On top of that, then you could purchase a single xenon kit and still retain your high beams.

thanks for your reply, i have another question if you don't mind. i read on some of the projectors that they are not compatible with HID. The only ones I can find anywhere online have prices around 800-1000 for the projector. so my question is, would this one really work with the single xenon kit: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-03...ayphotohosting

We haven't encountered an aftermarket projector yet that would not accept our HID kit. Even if it did not fit, you can return it to us and we could refund you.

Your 2003 Nissan Maxima uses H3 bulbs for the foglights. The price is for the D2R bulbs and the H3 foglight kit w/ slim ballast comes to $230 shipped. If you want, you can order online, use the coupon code DC2 when you order. Also, for just D2R bulbs, they are under replacement parts.

I'm sure it has been discussed, but I have apparently missed it. What is involved in the custom coloring process, if it does not involve the kelvin rating? Am I correct in assuming that I would need 9004 bulbs for my factory 96 maxima?

The bulbs start out as a 4300k bulb. Then the gases inside of the bulb are altered to produce the desired color. Also, your 1996 Nissan Maxima does in fact use a 9004 bulb.

Make sure you are not trying to purchase the fog light kit in a Custom Color, that would bump the price to $250. Also, remember to put the coupon code in capital letters. Once again the code is DC2

No, you will not need Slim Ballast for your 2002 Maxima in regards for the foglights. Slim Ballast are only really needed on Motorcycles as there is extreamly limited space on them.

The price is actually $140 shipped currently. As for pick up, that is only possible in Houston, TX. I (Patrick) am in MA but it would be not be cost effective to send it to me then to drive and meet up.
