Because of hurricane Ike we've been slowed down in the shipping process. We are unable to find an open UPS Store or Hub in the Houston area. As soon as we are able to find one all orders will be going out. Sorry for the inconvenience everyone. Also we are trying to answer e-mails, PM's and phone calls the best we can at this moment, so please bare with us.

Any update on the Ike situation? hope you guys are doing ok down there. Sorry if this inconvenient for you but I have another question. So since I shipped to a PO box, assuming you already shipped it out, how long do you think it would take to get here? a couple days or closer to a week? thanks and mahalo nui loa.

For the latest up to the minute update, give Hanh a call at 832-428-2431. We're all doing okay and trying to get generators and everything else to function properally while we wait for the power to come back. As for your shipment, give Hanh a call (832-428-2431) he'll let you know if it has shipped out or not. I am going to lean towards no right now as most everything in Texas is closed except for a few gas stations and convenience stores

Yup, your 2004 Maxima does use a 9012 bulb which is also known as a 9006 bulb. Also here are some pics f 6k vs 8k.

Also your best bet is to use the website.

Only the H4 (9003), 9004, 9007 and H13 (9008) have the little high beam halogen bulb next to the HID bulb.

I love the set for my Max. but I just bought a new Dodge Ram and would like to have a set for that also AND here is my question.
I have read on the Dodge forum that some have problem with the HIDs blinking, it has nothing to do with the kit but with the truck. I do not think I will have the problem because I do not have DRL, but if I do, any ideas? Wondering if you've had this with other buyers, and if so any solutions?
Thanks and reply to with PM please

Actually, we make a special kit for Dodge's to get rid of that problem It does not cost anything extra either! Just when you order put in the special instructions the year make and model of your Dodge as so we make sure it goes out to you with the needed changes.

Rubber Injected??

These are the only other HiD kits that I could find which are waterproof, shockproof and come with relay harnesses for a price that is unbeatable.I was looking to buy the kits from mobileHID.com but they are selling at $225. MobileHID has done comparisons with various kits in the market as well.Just two (2) questions:1. How are these kits compared to the ones on mobileHID.com ??2. Are these kits rubber injected to make it more shock resistant ??Really interested.... since i would be able to buy 2 kits for the price of 1 kit on mobileHID.Thanks!!Keneth!

Enjoy the kit partner, if you want the halogen high beam to work, check out our manual, it is on page 6 on how to do it

As for the DDM slim HID kits, I have yet to hear of them. But here is a picture of our slim ballast which look identical to theirs.

DDM is selling their slim kits for $70 only... i'm a lil confused as to what i should do now!!! Either way... what is the black box thingy that is attached to the slim ballast. Regular size ballasts don't seem to have that. Is that the ignitor? or some kinda digital cutoff system? Would you however recommend the regular ballast or the slim ballast as I would need 2 kits (both H11) for the low & fogs on my 2008 Nissan Altima!

Please post a full size pic of your slim ballast from end to end along with the label on the ballast pls.

I can't vouch for the quality of the DDM or how they handle warranties. But I know a lot of people in this forum can vouch for me

Also the little black box thingy is the igniter, the regular sized ballast have them inside. Also a lot of people mount the regular sized ballast just fine in cars. We just found the slims to work best in motorcycles where space is at a premium. But you can always buy the slim kits if you really wanted.

Also that is the picture of the slim ballast, that is the best picture I can get right now because hurricane Ike shut down a lot of power in Houston and 3B spec was one of them so I can't quite get a picture right now

i have a 2008 Nissan Altima...

I'm still uncertain as to what color temperature bulb i want.... i want white light on the road.... but want slight blue hue....

initially i was thinking... 5000K kits for both low & fogs...
now i'm tending more towards 6000K for low and 5000K for fogs....

what would u say?

For a slight blue with a 35w kit, get a 6000k
for a slight blue with a 50w kit, get an 8000k

what i mean is...does it look weird if there are 2 different color temperatures for lows & fogs....hence would u recommend same color temp. for both or different is ok?here in Dubai, most people usually drive using their fog lights (me included!). Would 5000K fogs be pretty decent in foggy conditions (though it doesn't fog much here!). I've heard 3000K are real good in foggy weather!!Sorry for so many questions...first i couldn't decide on what kinda kit i want... and now i'm having a problem selecting the color temp.

Most people go with the same color temps but I actually think a deeper low beam and a lighter color fog light looks nice. Also the 5000k would be pretty decent in foggy conditions. But yes the 3000k or our Custom Color yellow are much better in foggy conditions. But its all good, here are some pictures of the 5k and 3k and custom color yellow.

I just checked the pricing for shipping to Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the shipping would be $38.95 for 2 HID kits.

I think i would prefer 6000K for my lows since i like the slight blue hue... but then like u said ppl usually have the same color temp. for both lows & fogs.

So i guess its either gonna be:
1. 5000K for both
2. 6000K for low & 3000K for fogs
3. 5000K for low & 3000K for fogs

When you say custom yellow color do you mean the HH Yellow?? I like the ones in the last 2 pics.... is that a 55W kit or a 35W kit?

The pictures of the HH yellow are used with 35w ballast.

Also if you are in Houston or MA local pick up is available. Also we don't have any 50w in slim ballast. Also all of our ballast are digital. If you want we can do 50w in the regular sized ballast or 35w in the slim.

ok i think i have finally decided on the 6000K....

instead of 2 HiD kits however... i think i would wanna buy 3 kits (fogs, lows & highs). I intended to use the relay harness for all 3 kits....

is that pushing it?? would the battery be able to take the load??

help!!

appreciate ur help so far....

Yup, the battery can take it, it is just during the initial start up that the battery sees a big draw of power. Once they are up and running they only use 35w's.
