NWP Engineering won't be doing any dyno testing on the 4th gen spacers on the 00-01 Maxima. The owner of the test vehicle definitely felt a nice gain in power though.
The 4th gen UIM Spacer will need to be cut in a few places b/c the bolt pattern is slightly different on the 5th gen DEK UIM.
But, since the 2001 Maxima does not have an EGR system, you will not need to have the EGR extension kit.

Just a little update on the 00-01 Maxima Thermal Intake Spacer Hardware Kit.
Things are a little backed up right now. They are currently expected to be released around early April. I apologize for the delay.

The DEK hardware kit has been tested and everything went very well! For the 2000 Maxima with the EGR system, an EGR extension kit was developed to allowed a 1/4" Upper Intake Manifold Spacer to be installed and still maintain function of the stock EGR system. The 2001 Maxima guys do not have an EGR system and won't have to purchase this add-on to the kit.
The hardware kit is currently in production and should be available for sale within the next 3 weeks.
The 00-01 Maxima has the VQ30DEK engine. Whenever you see the term "DEK", that means the 00-01 Maxima.

Since the 4th gen Throttle Body Spacer will not fit on the 00-01 UIM, I am hoping this will completely offset the costs so the price will still be $215, which is what the 95-99 Maxima Thermal Intake Spacer Kit is.
And for those 2001 Maximas that don't have an EGR system, the price will be even less since the EGR extension kit will not be needed.

Once again, we are not producing a Thermal Intake Spacer Kit specifically for the 00-01 Maxima. We are just producing a hardware kit that will allow you to install the 95-99 Maxima Thermal Intake Spacer Kit in your 00-01 Maxima.

We're getting very close! I am still writing the instructions to show what modifications are needed on the 4th gen upper intake manifold spacer to allow it to fit the 00-01 Maxima intake manifold.
Right now, it might only be about 10 days before the hardware kit is released. The EGR extension kit is already completed and in stock. I'm just waiting on the next batch of 4th gen spacers to be completed.

The gain in HP on the VQ30DE-K seems to be similar to what the 95-99 Maxima VQ30DE showed.

It will be $225 plus $10 shipping. Your kit will include an EGR Extension Kit which will allow you to keep your EGR connected and still pass emissions.
We also have the Engine Torque Link for your car, which will improve traction, wheel hop, as well as throttle response and drivability.
