Cattman Performance Annual December SALE
#4
I'm wondering the same thing, are these price shipped, or would we have to expend extra for shipping?
Also, I asked this question from another GD thread already. Are you able to sell me an 02 FastCat with 2 customiz welded O2 bungs in the rear section of the FastCat? I'm trying to install Cattman headers without having to simulate the secondary O2 sensors. Relocating them behind the cat section makes most sense to me. Thanks.
If you can do the customized FastCat deal with me, I'll buy it with the CatBack Exhaust all at the same time.

Sorry, I read that when it came in, and then didn't run across it again to answer. Of course we could weld the ports in, but without it being mounted on the car we couldn't orient the sensors so they wouldn't bump into anything or point towards the ground. Any decent exhaust shop should be able to do this with the part on the car so you could be certain that the ports are aligned properly.
Unfortunately, at this time we're out of the Maremont Metal'Cats (which we use in FastCats and 6th gen y-pipes) and since the manufacturer doesn't know when they'll have more to ship I don't even want to take backorders.

Other than the accessories at the bottom of the ad, prices do not include shipping. Since we're in one corner of the country, its not fair to make the customers who are near us subsidize customers who are far away (which is what happens when shipping's "included").
If you see something you like, we'll be glad to provide shipping quotes.

Then I'll just skip the idea of buying the fastcat after all.
For the 02 catback system, how "doable" would it be to weld 2 ports there? Can you customize that for me before I buy it? I"m ready to get the whole exhaust revamped, but I don't want to skip a beat doing it correctly for the secondary O2 relocations. I really don't trust that O2 simulator will give me full peace of mind, hence, relocating the ports. Since I got the 1st gen set of Cattman Headers, I'm really itching to reach full Cattman Exhaust status again.

That I can do (special order) because the manufacturing fixture is set up for installing 2 O2 ports already. There is an extra $25 charge for double sensor ports on the 00-03 b-pipe.
This will work, of course, and its your choice (make sure to solder all the wiring extensions), but you will spend less on an O2 simulator circuit ($28) and they're pretty reliable. I had my '02 set up the way you're talking about doing it (done before we started using simulators) but after the O2 sensors failed I switched over to a simulator and its worked fine.

damn it... I just ordered some es stuff from you and now the price is a little lower. haha... I just added it up and it's 2 whole dollars. Not a big deal.
Thanks for the motor mounts and control arm bushings Brian. I'm hoping to have this installed shortly after the new year (weather depending of course).

How many do you have in stock (just so I know how quickly to act)?
If there's a color, could you tell me which ones?
Does that include shipping?
Thanks,
Andrew

Sure, I'd be glad to.
Cattman G6 y-pipe (A/T version in picture); makes AT LEAST 10whp and 13 ft/lbs torque (on an auto tranny, meaured on a Mustang dynamometer):
Cattman G6 catback exhaust; we haven't dynoed this (no point, nothing could be done to make it perform any better), but customers report 10-12whp:
Cattman G6 B-pipe; not dynoed, and the results will depend in part on which mufflers are used - with non-restrictive mufflers should perform like the full catback:
Cattman G6 Axle-back exhaust (mufflers and rear sections) (2 pics):
Let us know if you have additional questions.

I think we have 2 or 3 kits left, but I'm not sure about colors - the powder coating on the tubes is likely either gloss black or silver. Price does not include shipping, but these aren't heavy or in large boxes - postage in the continental US ranges from $12-$15.

Hey Brian could I get a price on some front sway bar endlinks, and a suspension bushings kit for a 96 maxima shipped to 56303.
Thanks,
Sean
Thanks,

We don't sell the FSB endlinks but we do sell ES's FSB endlink bushings (just for the 95-99), and were you thinking about the all of the suspension bushings ES makes for the 95-99 or a particular set? ES offers (for 95-99) the front control arm set, the front sway bar frame set, the front sway bar endlink set, the lower front subframe set, and motor mount set.

A press will do the trick, but it seems like the simplest way to do it is with a large bench vise. When I say "large", I just mean it has jaws that open up far enough to lay the bushing and the mount in the opening. Then you just tighten up, making sure to get the bushing started into the opening evenly, and press it into place.
I heard from a customer once that had somehow rigged up a method for driving a car on top of the bushing and mouting frame to press it in, but I definitely don't recommend it.

OH OH - I didn't read your first msg carefully enough, sorry about that.
The vise method is for the motor mounts, not the FCA set. I know the FCA bushes are a more involved installation, but haven't done it (or witnessed it) myself, so I can't help with method.

For ease of install take them to a general automotive machine shop, they have the right presses for this.
#32
The sort of vertical hydraulic press they have in machine shops will definitely do the trick with motor mounts, but I've gotten feedback (not uncommon) that the very thin edge around the bushing opening makes it awkward to set up the press. Even in a shop environment, I think the vise idea is more convenient.

do you have a pic of
00-03 Maxima and 00-04 I30/I35:
Driveline
– JWT “POP” Intakes for 00-03 Maximas and 00-04 I30/I35 – the only short-ram intake design that effectively reduces turbulence; reg. $140, only $109.99 while supplies last?

Hello again Brian,
Hope you had a great christmas and are going to have a happy new years.
I have a couple of questions about the intakes you offer for the 1996 nissan maxima.
Specifically I am looking at these three:
– JWT “POP” Intakes for 89-99 Maximas and 95-99 I30 – the only short-ram intake design that effectively reduces turbulence; reg. $140, only $109.99 while supplies last.
– Cattman/JWT Combo Intake for 95/96 Maxima, an upper intake tube between the MAF and throttle body with a JWT POP intake, includes hose connectors and all clamps; reg. $219, only $159.99 (upper tubes out of production, these are the last).
– Place Racing Upper Intake Tube for 95/96 Maximas and I30s – connect the MAF and throttle body, includes hose connectors and all clamps; reg. $109, only $59.99 (out of production, these are the last).
Now I am in need of an intake, and I am leaning towards getting a hybrid which I believe is just a midpipe and then the MAF and cone filter. I was just wondering what exactly these are "labeled" (as in CAI, Hybrid, pop charger, etc.)? And what is included in each set-up and what are the differences between the three?
Thanks in advance for your help.
Stephen
P.S. I still love my full exhaust, I wouldnt want anything else!!
