no. but we do want more chassis bracing!

it did not increase understeer noticeably for me....especially with my driving style geared towards road racing as opposed to auto-x. In some cases I have LESS understeer..."how?" you say? because the chassis will flex less, that means it is forcing the suspension to absorb some of the energy that was previously transfered to the chassis....in my case, that means it made the front end more compliant over rough roads. and I have PLENTY of rough roads around here. It's also more predictable in transitions and improves ride quality a bit. and of course it sits a little flatter in corners.

in theory, it should magnify our understeer problem. in reality, the additional understeer is minimal and IMO the benefits outweigh the possibility of more understeer.

even if you don't believe the understeer is minimal, a RSB and poly trailing arm bushings would make you alot more tail happy....
and hey, I never said you couldn't disconnect your FSB either....i might have to try that just to see what it's like

You couldn't pay me to put those hideous homemade tig-welded 1" box steel "braces" on my car. Sorry but that is a very amateurly "engineered" piece of equipment.

^ correct me if I'm wrong, but don't 350z's have a bit larger aftermarket than 4th gen maximas?

those of us with maximas don't have many options for certain products, this being one of them. and who cares wtf they look like...they work. and IMO the structure of them looks stronger than some of those mass produced fender braces by big name companies.

whatever, I'm done posting in this thread. I'll just go drive and enjoy my fender braces...

How would you propose he engineers them then? Put in some feedback instead of offering your amature opinion. He's doing this on his own time so the rest of us don't have to and he's doing it for cheap with effective material. I guess he could make them out of molding plastic, titanium alloy, or gold, for you, and charge another $300 for something that is already fine as it is with the steel. Bottom line is that it works, from input, and that's pretty much all the reason he needs to keep making and selling.

Sure he could chrome it up and make it all shiny and sell it for more money but durrrrr I didn't know that normal daily driver cars had see-through fenders. You must have a hell of a car to have see through body parts so the driving world could see what you have or what you don't have under the shell of your car. That's pretty spiffy man. What company did you order your translucent fenders from? Oh it must be that new company, uh what was it called? NowYouSeeMeNowYouDont Co.? Hook it up!*

I'm going to call Sean because yeah, the months-long delay is ridiculous.

I want as stiff a chassis as possible. Handling will be better across the board. There are many ways to mitigate the understeer tendency, and I did not notice big changes in understeer bias after any of my chassis mods.
