Hi,

Your bulb type is
2000 NISSAN Maxima
High & low beam headlamp
9003=H4
Fog/Driving light
H3

You have two choices for the H4/9003 (H4=9003) (hi/lo and bi-xenon)
hi/lo means your low beam is HID and high beam is Halogen because this bulb type has two bulbs in one bulb base to go from low to high beam.
And the bi-xenon means both your low and high beams will be HID.

Here is the link to your H4/9003 hi/lo 8000K ($60 after coupon code from first page of the thread or on the signature)
http://www.hidextra.com/HID+Conversi...rsion+Kit.html

Here is the link to your H4/9003 bi-xenon 8000K ($90 after coupon code from first page of the thread or on the signature)
http://www.hidextra.com/HID+Conversi...rsion+Kit.html

Your fogs are H3 3000K ($60 shipped to US after coupon code: fspecial-m)

http://www.hidextra.com/HID+Conversi...rsion+Kit.html

If you want to get both kits, you must enter your transaction separately to get different order #s and input coupon code using express checkout so you can get the $15 off discount each kit. THanks!

Just want to give an update.

Have the 5000 K kit in my I30 and last night had to drive in a torrential rain storm on the interstate.

Let me tell you this HID kit is fantastic. They not only give great white light on the road but the road markers and signs are much, much easier to read and see, even in the rain.

I have not had one car flash me and I have looked at the lights and do not detect any unusual glare.

I am very satisfied.

Thank you again Michelle!

The bulb is two bulbs in one bulb base so you will need to change the whole bulb. Thanks`

Had a ballast go bad from my H3 Kit that I bought from you. What do I need to do to get it replaced? I tested the voltage from my plug through the harness and all works fine. The outlet side though there is NO power. I've already pulled the ballast out and ready to swap.

Thanks, please get back with me as soon as possible. Ordered about a month or so ago.

This is the first "failure" that I've read about. Had read all the forums I could on these kits before I got mine and didn't see any posts about any failures.

Any updates on what happened to your ballast Orgullo? Also, did it just stop working suddenly or a gradual failure?

I'm having trouble with mine as well. Installed them and worked for one night. Next night one light is out. Swapped bulbs to see if it was a bad bulb and the good side bulb did turn on. I mailed them my "bad" bulb which tested good. Now, my supposedly good bulb doesn't work on either side. You can see the bulb trying to light, but nothing. It ticks me off because I have to keep mailing stuff off to them in Cali, wait for them to get and test it, then start the process all over again. Bah......

I just ordered a kit with the harness. Ordered from one of your competitors, they sent me the wrong kit and didn't even get an invoice in the email / physical box. So far I got an invoice so this is a start.

Got the kit and everything went together well, good kit.

One note on the fogs, the H3 bulb fit in my 2k housing with no issues, however you will need to alter the cap in order to make the kit work. I drilled two holes and sealed with some putty I had laying around.

Hi

Everything is plug and play

basically it's Bulbs --> ballasts --> wire harness --> oem connector

if you have a housing color you may need to drill a hole so the rubber grommet can fit and become waterproof. Thanks!

HI,

All OEM HID's are 4300K, so the closest color is 5000K.
Thanks!

What is DR2 and D2S?

Can anyone post a picture of an 02-03 max with 4000-6000k HID's, and 3000k fogs? I would like to see what it looks like before I do it.

Has anyone even replaced their stock HID's with their HID's? Is it any better?

We do not carry the 55w for the following reason

1.) It only produces 15% more brightness
2.) it's 2-3 more expensive
3.) it kills the bulb and the ballast itself faster because of the higher wattage and heat.

Thanks!

The only difference in D2R and D2S is the locking position,
that is why aftermarkets come out with D2C which have tabs that lock in both D2S and D2R. Thanks!

Hi. I'm new to this and purchased a 9006 kit for my car. After hooking it up and turning it on, I notice there's a slight humming sound coming from the ballast. Just wondering if this is normal. Other than that, the lights look amazing. Thanks!
