This picture doesn't show much at all, but it is all that they've sent me so far. We will have more in the future.

Beautiful and the fitment looks great. The tips are a bit too far away... It's hard to agree in this picture but a side shot will reveal the gap I'm seeing. In all honesty, bring them closer to eliminate that "ricey" wide mouth look you see all over eBay. If they're 2.5" tips, I would suggest a half-inch gap between them.

and waiting to hear how it sounds, although it will sound different with my warpspeed y-pipe. Any idea if you guys will be offering just the axle back for a reduced price? I already have an aftermarket b-pipe (a bit shorter than stock, requiring axleback to be a bit longer than stock). the b-pipe resembles the one you sell with your existing 2.5" catback setup.

The 2.5" Dual tip should be available in about 1-1.5 months. Pricing is coming soon.

man the 2.5 looks so good i might just get this ans screw waiting for the 3" lets get a sound clip and specs..... what size resonator??? to the person talking about the gap, not to say you dont have a point but from owning a rear lip, if the tips actually fits in the rear lip then the gap isnt bad at all, its not too much play with the space in the rear lip... i definately approve

Not to be the bearer of bad news, but doesn't the dummy "5.5" above have black tail lights which usually means it's a 5.0 gen? In my experience don't 5.5 gens have the clear rear lights? Just hope the fit is the same between both 5/5.5 If not i'm still stoked on the release date

Fitment is same for all 5 gens.

Custom Maxima, let me recommend that you put at least a 22" resonator on this piece. The small one on your 2.5" is not enough for people with headers to get rid of rasp. I had to have an extra resonator welded in. People will understand the increased price for a bigger resonator so that this exhaust will sound good without needing to be modified!

+10 on fitment for the 00-03 so for the guy who tried to act like he had a point on the 5th gen tails... go research this urself... NTM there's a ton of ppl with 5.5 running 5th gen tails, granted there isn't many ppl that actually uses the black badging... same fitment none the less

True, but i figure i'd ask in case there were any adjustment points we could provide Custom Maxima. FYI I'm VERY familiar with all the changes Grand_Hustle between 5.0/5.5 gen maximas (front grill, headlights, tail lights, 3.0/3.5 engine, etc), but i figure it wouldn't hurt to ask. Although maybe you're right since there are exhausts made for 00-03 maximas(IE HKS Exhaust); so maybe there aren't any differences.

i am still only finding the evo2 style catback from them... anyways I will wait until a group deal is announced, and others have tried it before I buy.

Is there any way they could get the tips closer to the bottom of the lip? I think the muffler itself is hanging down lower than it should be. The last thing I wanna do is scrape up my new exhaust.

If u can scrape ur rear bumper n muffler over something then please tell me what u did for lowering ur car.... I've probebly had my 5th gen as low as it could drivable go and the muffler and rear bumper is not going to scrape anything unless u back into something, which at that point the height wasn't the one to blame... the exhaust is fine... nothing to worry bout there

backing out of a steep driveway for 1, i have the cattman right now, and i've scraped it a couple times, it doesnt hang nearly as low as this one does.

also, it'd look aesthecally please to actually have it sit in the nook where it's intended, similar to the cattman.

must be an extremely steep driveway... if the cattman scraped and those are further up then how much more do you think he can safely go before sacrifice burning the rear lip???... if it goes up great if not im ready to buy...
