Well got a Racingline Strut Bar, ordered Cattman Fastcat and Exhaust, cause no offense but people are still waiting on your exhaust you said you were making about 10 months to a year ago!! You should do a little better design with the headers they just look like stock manifolds with a y-pipe to cut out the pre cats correct?

We have been extremely busy with orders lately. The 2.5" dual tipped muffler catback is supposed to debut in about a week. We are going to post a new thread for it once it is finally ready. We spent a lot of time getting this system just right. Thank you everyone for the patience.

Not to sound like a know it all or a smart *** at all, but if you are not sure of fitment, which you stated, even though you have not had any calls about it, if i was to buy it and you are not 100% and we return it, we will still be charged a restocking fee because noone is sure of fitment yet

Not that I am ready to purchase yet since im still looking into options with the car.

Good pricing what the hell is up with trying to bash on the time it took to get a product out?? This happens all the time every where for games, electronic products, software etc...its bound to happen in the automotive world as well! I am glad that there is still a company serving the 4th gen and general max community.

I am very interested the prices seem very fair time to look for some reviews

does the ypipe fit a 2.5" exhaust?

Not bashing on your company but people like stand up company's like if you say a couple of months they give you that, but if you cant pull it off just say so and they'll be fine with it, I mean alot of ppl were on board for your product.

i agree, if the demand is there and a company can not produce the product in the given time they stated they shouldnt get everyones hopes up,however i know manufacturing plants run into problems here and there therefore making a company look bad

I ordered a high flow cat, y pipe and headers on Monday. Got everything yesterday and installed everything this morning. I had no fitment problems at all. And evethough I have a 97 max, I have a full 3.5 swap so I ordered everything for a 95-99 max. Fit like a hand in a glove. The onle problem was that the high flow cat mad my exhaust louder so I put my old one back on.

Just a heads up. Two weeks ago I ordered a CustomMaxima fstb and Friday when I received my package I was surprised to find that it wasn't a CustomMaxima fstb. Instead it is one you'd expect to get if you bought one off ebay. If I was looking to buy a ebay fstb I would buy one, I ordered a CustomerMaxima one because I wanted one with a good design and nice finish. I've left a message at the number listed on Custom Maxima's site so I'll update further when/if I hear back from them.

I also want to point out that it doesn't help us as customers if a company has varying pictures of the same product on their own website. When I first ordered the fstb you saw the original fstb as a pic, now you only see it after you actually select the part # after choosing your make/model/year.

I'd like this question answered as well. Are the headers better than the stock ones? Closer to equal distance for each cylinder?

One other question: are there any legal considerations for cutting out the pre-cat? Also, will the computer throw a code after installation detecting that the non-existent pre-cat isn't doing its job? The only reason I'd worry about that is because some codes that come up may take the computer out of closed-loop operation, which would decrease gas mileage and performance...

Update - I've attempted to contact CustomMaxima several times. I've left them two messages asking them to please call me back and I also tried contacting them via email. I give up and I'm going to my bank today to fill out paperwork to dispute the charges.

I want to return my "ebay"/CustomMaxima fstb but there's nothing I can do if I can't even reach somebody to issue me a RMA form and talk to me about my issue. There's no way I'm paying for shipping to return it and "be assessed up to a 30% restocking charge".

I like the Temporary Hiatus status. If you're on hiatus from the forums and from customer service all together then you shouldn't still sell parts.

That same exact exhaust is going for $330 on ebay (look at the reflection on the muffler). And the same Maxima photos are in another CustomMaxima groupbuy thread on here somewhere.
